Delicious, fresh and well proceed

The Maryland crab cakes were melt in your mouth delicious, loved the fish tacos, fish and chips, and Tavern chips. Nice craft beer selection.

Was not sure what to expect but we ended up doing the Cork Street Tavern for dinner while visiting Winchester. The service was good, the food was good and nothing seemed overpriced.

We loved the old tavern charm of this place, especially eating in the bar next to the fireplace. The food was exceptionally good. My wife had the Rodeo BBQ Burger w/hand made chips and I had the Portabella Delight sandwich w/soup of the day. The tavern has separate sections and entrances for non-smoking and smoking. We ate in the non-smoking... More

Definitely a late night staple! The best way to end a walking mall pub crawl! Sandwiches are great too.

We stopped in on our way through town for dinner on a Sunday and enjoyed burgers, fries and a couple of beers. The food was good pub food and the waitstaff was friendly. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Strangely, the older part of the building/tavern which dates back to the 1830's, allows smoking. I was surprised by this... More

Deb, We are glad you joined us for your burgers! We get a lot of positive feedback on them. As for the smoking side, that is one thing that bothers some people and we do fortunately have a non smoking side. As far as Virginia goes, the main reason so few places allow smoking is because legally you have to... More

My family and I were part of the original Cork Street Tavern family. The history behind the buildings adds to the charm of this wonderful restaurant. The ribs are the best in the Valley. Keep it up!!!

My husband and I found out about this restraunant in a travel book we had. I thought it was neat and wanted to try it out due to it being a local Winchester place. The food was delicious and reasonable priced. The atmosphere was neat. It reminded me of a old pub. It was worth going.

My wife and I had lunch. We started with the bloomin shrooms. Mushrooms with freshly made crab stuffing....... Excellent. I had the confederate burger, an 8 ounce patty, topped with grilled ham, lettuce tomato and mayo.. Very tasty. My wife had a barbecue pulled pork sandwich. It came with fries, which she said were very good, crisp and tasty. My... More
