We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious and service was great. The ambience was also very nice.

Food is usually very good, though expensive. It is a very classy place. I find most waiters there have an attitude. I have lived in Winchester and been here many times.

You walk into a nice warm atmosphere greeted by friendly staff excited about a wonderful dinner with friends. All the makings for a great evening out. Then your food comes...what a disappointment. The quality of the food does not match the price or the place. I don't mind paying for a nice meal, but I have been there 3 times... More

My wife and I went to V2 (Village Square) last evening, Friday. We entered at the bar where there was a jazz pianist. We decided to eat at the bar because of the music. The menue was interesting to say the least; there was the usual meat choices but also 2 vegitarian selections and 3 or 4 seafood choices. My... More

We have been to this restaurant several times. The food was good...but not as good as it was on previous visits. We shared a salad, which they split for us, which is always appreciated. My husband ordered the wild boar...it was very "chewy" and he really didn't enjoy it. I had scallops which were good. The service was efficient but... More

When my husband and I want to have a nice meal but don't feel like getting all dressed up, Village Square is the place we go. Their food is consistently good; duck and lamb cooked perfectly, steaks cooked just the way you requested, excellent presentation. I do wish they'd change the menu up more often and have more variety, but... More

From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was warm, cozy, and inviting. Everyone was kind and very helpful. From appetizer, main course, then to the fabulous dessert I just can't say enough about how wonderful everything was here. I would definitely come here and recommend this restaurant.

The desk clerk at our hotel pointed us in the direction of the walking mall in Old Town Winchester; after wandering for a bit and reading menus along the way, we chose Village Square because it had the biggest crowd and seafood on the menu. The hostess told us to sit anywhere, and we did, but we got no menus,... More

While visiting Winchester we had occassion to eat at this restaurant. Nice menu choices. Good atmosphere in an historic building on the pedestrian mall in Old Town. Food was enjoyable. Prices were average to a bit above average. Outdoor seating is also available. Would eat here again. Looks to be a good spot for night time entertainment as well.
