The best french fries, good value, great location

We stopped in here while strolling the adorable shops on the pedestrian walkway and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the $9 wine wall and the excellent french fries. The garlic mayonnaise on them was especially yummy! We were NOT fans of the pork rinds, but that was our first time trying such a... read more

This place had great food and a large selection of craft beers that are hard tom find almost anywhere. Quality was great and I advise you to give it a try if you are in the Winchester area for some reason.

Lots and lots of beer choices. Service is good. German flare to the menu. Some very nice dishes. We go here several times a month and enjoy it. Not too expensive and food good.

Some friends and I were visiting from out of town and saw the reviews. We walked by and were very impressed with how things looked through the window--especially the wide selection of adult beverages. However, when we went in to inquire about seats were treated very rudely and essentially chases out including with some poor attempt at German (yes, we... More

We found this restaurant by accident and wasn't sure if we were going to like it but the food, service and atmosphere was very good. We would most definitely go back.

The mussels were delicious, and I thought the French fries were fine (don't miss the garlic mayo.). Just like multiple previous reviewers, I would agree that the food was served lukewarm. The service was just average. The atmosphere and taste of the food make this place a potential five, but the cool food and service are holding it back. Did... More

Stopped in for lunch while visiting Winchester with friends. Ordered the mussels (recommended by the waiter) and pommes frites with garlic mayo. The mayo was the best part of the meal. The mussels and McDonalds quality frozen fries (at $5) were delivered to the table barely warm. Often that's the fault of an inattentive waiter, but even after both were... More

We had lunch here yesterday. Beautiful day and we thought an outdoor lunch would be fun. Our waiter came quickly and took our order. Never received the soup of the day we ordered. Our entrees were not hot, except for the french fries. It was after the lunch rush hour when we ate, so no real excuse for mediocre food.... More

Stopped in for lunch. The good: I had the grill cheese, tomato soup and small salad, all were very tasty. Wife had the flat bread caprese, also very good, nice basil pesto, tomato and mozzarella. The bad: nothing was hot, soup was lukewarm at best and cheese had not melted on the grilled cheese. The ugly: sweet tea was made... More
