Pricey pub

This was a pretty good experience. I though $16 for a really tiny shepherd's pie was a bit much this far out of the DC area, but the food was good and service was friendly. It's in an old bank (Union Bank, irony), which is cool. Classy building for a pub.

This bar and restaraunt introduces itself as an authentic British pub, however actual Britsh visitors have complained about their fish and chips. Family atmosphere by day, drunken redneck crowd by night. Prices sometimes reasonable.

Came here after driving 9 hours from Nashville. We sat outside because it was a really nice night out. Had the blackberry cider which was so good! Went inside to wash hands and the atmosphere inside wasn't the same as out. IT is small in there and is really just a long bar so i probably wouldnt want to eat... More

After a 10 hour drive, we stopped at Winchester specifically to visit Union Jack Pub. It did not disappoint with a great variety of beer selections along with a full bar! Best stop in Winchester!

Perfect place to chill out while touring around Old Town. Our waitress Meredith was super welcoming. We were offered samples while waiting for our excellent fish and chips. Magner Cider and Bodingtons brought back fond memories of Scotland. Must stop and enjoy!

I love craft beer and I love shepherd's pie, so this is the perfect place for me. I have been here several times as I live a few blocks from the downtown mall and I've never had anything to eat here that wasn't delicious - and no, I don't always get shepherd's pie. That have a huge selection of craft... More

Wife and I stopped for an early dinner (late lunch). Mary, our waitress, promptly seated U.S. and took our drink order. I had the crab cake entry and the wife had the Reuben sandwich. The crab cakes were rather small and had a but too much filler. The Reuben was good but ran short on the sauerkraut and dressing. The... More

When it's busy it can be hard to squeeze around people or get table space but the bar is long, the beer is cold, and they have a great selection of domestic and international beers on tap.

The wife and stopped in after shopping on the walking mall. I am not a beer guy but I was thrilled to see half a dozen ciders on tap! I tried two and was happy with both. We had a Reuben sandwich with extra Kraut. It was large and filling and wonderful. I detected a hint of cinnamon in the... More

Whenever we’re in Westminster we stop by the Union Jack. It’s the only place I’ve found that I can get a Boddington’s on tap (my favorite beer). On our way to a weekend in Staunton, we stopped for lunch. I got my Boddington’s and fish and chips with mushy peas. My husband got a burger. Both were good and we... More
