We were tired so wanted convenience. Ordered at bar, which was comfortable with reasonable priced cocktails (huge martini at$10 or half that in happy hour). I had filet mignonette which was the best cooked, best flavour steak I had had for a long time as a bonus there is a light salad to start. Expensive at$29 but worth it as... More

My sister and I ate lunch here after vising the spa at the George Washington hotel. The lunch salads we had were wonderful..with fresh fruit and a lovely lemon vinaigrette dressing. We also each added a crab cake and the meal was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and did a good job serving and offering suggestions. We liked... More

Subpar service...the slowest I've had anywhere. Very expensive food, especially for portion size. Convenient, but definitely not worth it. Too bad the excellent George Washington Hotel has a very mediocre dining experience. Try Yelp and see what else is nearby.

While we absolutely LOVED the George Washington Hotel, The Dancing Goat was subpar. Our waiter was so bad that the manager finally came over to even get us water. The food we got was OK but any additional items we wanted were $4 each (that's a bit pricey for 2 pieces of bacon). There are too many other great places... More

We stopped by the goat on a whim one day when we felt like eating in the Downtown area of Winchester. We had eaten at most of the places on the walking mall and decided to give it a try. We were greeted promptly and seated. The server was a young women who was efficient. We ordered lunch and were... More

In the hotel were we stayed. The food was good and prepared well. The service was little slow, The prices were about what you would pay for a normal restaurant breakfast. Would definitely eat there again

We celebrated a family member's birthday with dinner at The Dancing Goat last month. The atmosphere of the restaurant is upscale yet casual so one can expect and receive delicious food and great service without pretentiousness. Elizabeth, our server, was welcoming, efficient, and delightful. The chef, Daniel, delivered a menu full of variety and interest. There was something to please... More

the restaurant is nice, clean & well appointed. On our visit, the breakfast buffet was just ok for the price. $12.95. There was fresh fruit, scrambled eggs with asparagus & hash browns. The meats were ham & sausage, no bacon. French toast, several juices and coffee was included. We were hoping for bacon and breakfast potatoes of some kind, not... More

Atmosphere was more fast food than fine dining, "exhibition kitchen" just created din and distraction, service was very pleasant both times. Canned music stuck in 1972. Sunday breakfast buffet have very few choices and very little "health". Friday evening there were so few people that it looked to me that the locals know not to go there.

Looking for a place to have breakfast on a Sunday morning and was glad that The Dancing Goat served breakfast at such an early hour. The service was fast and the breakfast was great.
