We had dinner here, although convenient we wished we had walked over a couple of blocks. After waiting for a menu for a long time, waitress brought bread and butter, 15 minutes later she arrived with knives. There was another wait for salads, we felt ignored although we were only table. The entrees come and were just ok, warning meatloaf... More

A must. We had various appetizers. The meatballs are to die for. Try the cheese tray, excellent selection. Service was excellent and friendly.

I've had trouble with hotel restaurants in the past so I try not to get my hopes up, but this place went well beyond my expectations. The atmosphere was good. Nothing over the top or themey, just well laid out, tastefully decorated, and classy. The service was excellent. My server, Kelly, and another lady whose name I didn't get, were... More

We had quickly read some reviews of the The George Washington Hotel in Winchester, VA and it sounded very nice, so we booked. When we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly person who provided the valet service for our car and upon entering the hotel, we saw a very nice lobby and our room was very nice, and... More

SO glad we stayed inside the hotel and had dinner there! My steak was perfectly cooked and my wife loved the fish..

In lovely George Washington hotel, it had a great meeting room. Imaginative menu, we enjoyed hours of food and great service.

We were tired so wanted convenience. Ordered at bar, which was comfortable with reasonable priced cocktails (huge martini at$10 or half that in happy hour). I had filet mignonette which was the best cooked, best flavour steak I had had for a long time as a bonus there is a light salad to start. Expensive at$29 but worth it as... More

My sister and I ate lunch here after vising the spa at the George Washington hotel. The lunch salads we had were wonderful..with fresh fruit and a lovely lemon vinaigrette dressing. We also each added a crab cake and the meal was very good. Our waiter was very friendly and did a good job serving and offering suggestions. We liked... More

Subpar service...the slowest I've had anywhere. Very expensive food, especially for portion size. Convenient, but definitely not worth it. Too bad the excellent George Washington Hotel has a very mediocre dining experience. Try Yelp and see what else is nearby.

While we absolutely LOVED the George Washington Hotel, The Dancing Goat was subpar. Our waiter was so bad that the manager finally came over to even get us water. The food we got was OK but any additional items we wanted were $4 each (that's a bit pricey for 2 pieces of bacon). There are too many other great places... More
