We were looking for a place that had local beers and found this in the pedestrian mall. The Ortolan Bunting was a very good brew. My wife liked her salmon. The Uncle Alex burger was quite tasty. Good service. All in all, a nice place

This is a great restaurant to go with the family. We were on a road trip with some friends going through the Shenandoah valley and we stayed in winchester. When we go to new places we like to eat in local restaurant (not chain) to get a feel for the area. According to Trip advisor and other restaurant guides there... More

So I was looking for a fish dinner and my daughter recommended Brewmaker"s salmon. I followed her suggestion and was delighted that I did. The salmon had a nice smoky flavor to it and was good well. I had dirty rice with it but it was a little on the dry side. The broccoli was cooked well without being soggy.... More

A friend and I stopped here for lunch. I only wanted a snack so chose the Carribean Jerk Chicken Nachos from the appetizer menu. It was huge! But one of the best nacho meals I've ever had. Fully loaded and full of flavor, even though I was stuffed I wanted to keep eating. But ultimately it beat me and I... More

Stopped by for lunch. The shrimp bisque was very good as well as the burgers. Priced average for a touristy area. Staff was very friendly and helpful with ideas for things to see and do in the area. They offer nighttime entertainment (DJ, local bands etc.). Quaint place, nice place to relax over drink and or meal.

In my family's opinion when it comes to burger, fries, and drinks, Brewbaker's has become our favorite place to gather. In the summer time the outdoor seating is perfect on the north end, and this has to be one of the best gathering locations for special occasions including Apple Blossom. Service is always good, food great, and atmosphere is pub... More

Started with an order of hot wings. Nothing special, just average. Chicken tossed salad was boring, bagged lettuce, a few mushroom and cucumber slices. Not very flavorful and very small for $10 price tag. Reuben was just par. Chicken tender baskets were pretty good - kids approved. We drank waters. Meal was $55, which was very high considering the quality... More

Located downtown Winchester in the pedestrian mall. I ate lunch at Brewbaker's - since I was alone, I sat in the bar area. The bartender was also my server, and she was delightful and efficient. My order was taken promptly, and I received my meal in a reasonable time. Mostly pub type food - I opted for a Philly cheesesteak... More
