We stopped here because our normal breakfast spot was closed. The food was pretty good and reasonably priced. I didn't fall head over heels in love with it though. The service was prompt and mostly courteous.

We hadn't been to Five Forks in a while after being regulars for several years. It didn't matter to the staff, who recognized us anyway and greeted us quite warmly. When I inquired about my favorite sandwich that no longer appeared on the menu, our server said she would check to see if the kitchen would make it anyway. In... More

I love it here. Just good food that is basic and no frills. It's as close to dinner food as one can find in Williamsburg. It can get a little busy, so come early or come late.

Two of my friends and I decided to try Five Forks for breakfast the other day after working out at the YMCA. We were very happy we did. Everyone is right, it is more of a diner than a cafe and I mean that in the best way. We had to wait about 5 minutes but they had hot apple... More

First let me say this is a typical diner atmosphere that has probably been there since the 60's. Staff is friendly and prompt. We were seated quickly and orders taken without delay. The food is GREAT - I got eggs over easy, sausage patties, hasbrowns (fresh made), and sourdough bread toast and coffee. I couldn't eat it all. Husband got... More

Visited for breakfast on a Tuesday morning and the place was very busy which is normally a good sign. Pretty typical breakfast menu for the southern states including biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak, grits etc do the was plenty to choose from. Our orders were taken quickly and the food followed shortly. The food was very good and portions... More

Five Forks was really good! Not the best food I've ever had in my dining experience, but definitely solid and we would go back for sure. The portions are HUGE, so plan accordingly. I wanted to try both the sausage gravy and biscuits and the corned beef hash, so I got a side of the hash and didn't come close... More

Think Waffle House with decorations. It has basic diner options you expect for breakfast or lunch. We didn't have to wait for a seat, but the place started filling up around lunch time. This was easy for our family of four. We ended up paying about $5-6 a plate.

My wife and I took my oldest son and his family here for brealfast one Sunday morning based off reviews we had seen on this site. We wanted something differant, away from the normal tourist area. This is a unique cafe. We were not sure what to expect and we did not know how big this cafe was or was... More
