The eatery on Jamestown Road closed its doors on October - much to our chagrin. We ate there almost every week for 2 1/2 years, had excellent service, good food at reasonable prices. We truly miss it, and we surely wish someone would purchase and reopen the restaurant.

This is a strip mall restaurant with pub fare. It's not fancy, and it needs a little love, but it's not the worst place I've ever been either. I went for lunch with a friend and I thought the burgers and salads were very good and the service was excellent. It's kind of like finding a great burger at a... More

when I lived in williamsburg, this place had fantastic pub fare - burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. and was owned by 2 great brothers. We went there frequently, and had consistently good food. OKay, that was 10 years ago, and maybe the ownership has changed. When I went back a few months ago, I was sorely disappointed. The place seemed almost... More

The current incarnation of the Polo Club reminds me of one of those restaurants one sees on the Food Network that needs an expert to come in and set things right. (Robert Irvine, please help!) Business is slow even on Fridays and weekends. Service is okay, but it's about you'd expect for a low end strip mall near a college.... More

I was a regular here with my parents, but have not been in a while. Kind of pissed when they let their long term manager, Mike go. I think the Polo Club needs a big shot of energy to re-invent itself.

I can't see what the fuss is about. There are nicer places for lunch. Last time I was there, tables were sticky and service indifferent.

I cannot believe that people are giving this place good marks! Seriously on a 1 to 5, maybe a 1... Maybe... We just moved to the area and I did a search for Williamsburg best burgers and was directed to the Polo Club. One of two things is going on here, either the owner and his family posted these remarks... More

We wanted something new, we will still look. We had lunch; I do not think I could find more processed food. The bar was very active at 12 we should have noticed no one was eating. I don't think my business partner and I have been more disappointed in a lunch.

We've been here a number of times in the last three years. A little out of the way but worth the trip. Very friendly, nice atmosphere. We have been particularly impressed with the seafood dishes. Once you try this place, you'll come back.
