A good alternative

Limited menu, but the food is good, especially the flatbread appetizer which is enough for a meal. A very good alternative to the high-priced local "taverns" and their enormous entrees. Family oriented, not for those wanting a formal ambiance. Our server Candace was very efficient.

We were in the area for the fourth of July. We had 14 people with our family and we waited an hour for our table. Some of us started at the bar and had a tab there before we are. Once we were called for our table, it turned out to be two booths back to back. Ok, not what... More

Some of my family loved their dinner, some didn't. Best part was dessert which we later found out came from Williamsburg Inn!

The place was good, near the visitor center so if you are going back to your car after a long day you can always stop by. My only complain would be the dinner portions. The food just wasn't enough. The kids made their own pizza which was good. I chose the catch of the day and I have to say... More

Kids pizza was good, but and soup was fine, but the BBQ chicken sandwich was one of the grossest things I have ever seen come out of a kitchen. Wet boiled chicken shreds on a soggy wet roll. Pulled pork sandwich only marginally better with huge pieces of u trimmed fat. Air conditioning vents dripping and condensations on tables.

I know...because they can make their own pizza! I will say, my artichoke flatbread appetizer had great flavor even though it was a bit underbaked. My teen son and husband were greatly displeased with their meals. Had a difficult time tracking down the server for refills, condiments, etc. No amount of pleading will entice my DH to return to Huzzah... More

The Mushroom/Artichoke on flatbread appetizer was one of the best I have ever had. Large enough for 2 to share, the flavors blended so well that I hated to leave uneaten a part of the large portion.

We were on our way back from a long day of exploring Yorktown, walking 10,000 steps and driving the wrong way home (how could you get lost, right?),and my wife mentioned BarBQ. We ended up near William and Mary, and saw a closed off street with a funky little group of shops and outdoor cafe/restaurants/who knows what else? Instead I... More

Convenient stop for family with kids at the end of a long day in Colonial Williamsburg. It was easy to make a reservation on our way back to the visitors center and just walk in. Food was reasonably priced. Brisket was OK, although seemed really fatty. Cuban was good. French onion soup wasn't good at all. Son really enjoyed the... More

We spent the day touring colonial Williamsburg. We were tired and wanted something close with good food. It is convenient, right next door to the visitors center.
