The food at this restaurant was your typical Mexican food. The service was good and so was the food. However they didn't have a few items that we wanted to order, so that was a downer.

My girlfriend and I went here for an early dinner tonight after seeing that the reviews were good. There were only 4 tables full during our visit and a man who seemed to be the manager was our server. He was sitting at the bar on a laptop the entire time and only came to check on us if we... More

All you can eat! No "watch for sticky fingers and hot breath" buffet! Yes, I'm a fan. Typically I stray away from all you can buffet lines. So when I went to this establishment and saw that it was all you can order and eat...(must eat or they may charge you extra), I was astonished. They have more on the... More

As a local I really appreciate this place. In a town where good food is hard to come by, this is a nice go to place for simple and delicious food. Owners are always nice. This place is no frills but the food is spot on. Skip the chains and visit this place.

Decided to eat here based on the good TripAdvisor reviews and it was very close to the motel. The building and decor are very standard for any Mexican restaurant and well-kept and clean. As soon as you are seated they provide you with the standard chips and salsa and also a cheese & bean dip, which was a nice surprise.... More

We visited this restaurant based on TA feedback that it was the best spot in Williamsburg for mexican food. In hindsight, we left wishing we had tried somewhere else. We found the staff to be somewhat unfriendly - even putting scalding hot plates down in front of our toddler when our meals arrived. Their salsa was good and our meals... More

This restaurant serves not only Mexican food but Salvadoran. They were not able to provide the pupusas when we were there but the enchiladas and chile relleno we had were great. We enjoyed the beer. The prices are amazing. The food is very reasonable and delicious!

Never had a bad meal at South of the Border. It might not be as trendy or hard to get into as Plaza Azteca, but the food, service and prices can't be beat. The Margarita's are great too!

Self and three kids had lunch. All enjoyed the experience. Atmosphere is kind of "dumpy", but clean. All our meals were quickly served and tasty. Chips were accompanied by two dips - nice change from the usual salsa. Both were very good. Would go back.
