Great for lunch

This is probably billed more as a dinner venue, but we enjoy it for lunch too. It is probably our favorite place to meet friends when they come in from other areas, You can actually sit and hear each other talk. Great food and some good Southern options.

Oh my- what a treat. This place is awesome. I highly recommend it. You might have to wait for a table but it is well worth it. The mixed drinks are the best.

Yes, we love Colonial Williamsburg, but half the reason we visit is to eat at the Blue Talon - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Truly the most consistently wonderful food we have ever had the pleasure of enjoying.

My husband and I were having a family vacation with my grown children and needed a little couples' time. The food and the ambience were wonderful. Our server offered great suggestions. The couple at the table next to us struck up a conversation. we've been here many times in the last few years and will return again.

Definitely one of the best restaurants in the Hampton Roads area. They serve a lot of classic french dishes and some fantastic variations to it. Breakfast at Blue Talon is an amazing experience with their huge selection pastries, egg dishes, and platters. Brunch features an array of sandwiches and plates that will leave you fully satisfied. Dinner is the crown... More

We stopped by the Blue Talon Bistro a couple of weeks ago for late night dessert and quiet conversation with some out of town guests. It was perfect for that! The mousse was extraordinary, loved the fruit tarts, only tiny complaint about the decaf cappuccino was that it was a little small by the time you worked your way through... More

The food @ the Blue Talon is good, although they have far more competition in Williamsburg than they one did. On this visit, in winter off-season, the food was good but not great and seemed a little off the best we've had at the Blue Talon. For example, the French onion soup had an end of a baguette rather than... More

Always try their specials because they are normally great! Love to order the hamburger with the fried egg though too. Sometimes you just want a burger, right? :)

I dined there on New Year's Eve with my husband and two daughters (ages 11 and 9). It was very family-friendly, though it would also have been a wonderful place to dine without kids. My older daughter (a notoriously picky eater) loved the 1/2 portion of rotisserie chicken and declared this the best meal of our 4-day trip to Williamsburg.... More
