We went here for lunch. The food was good. But, the service was very inconsitent. We would be forgotten and then remembered after a long time. Just the little things like water, condiments, etc were forgotten. But, the ambiance is nice and the wine list is decent.

Great brunch food. Smoked Salmon Crepe was delicious. Wish there was a better selection of tea- they only had black tea. Fun bistro environment, though be warned sitting by the windows in the back in the morning can be very warm!

The Blue Talon Bistro offers great food at a reasonable price. Portions are generous and a simple sandwich can be more than enough for a full meal.

They have an excellent reputation and perhaps they lean on it a bit too much. The Mac n cheese is outstanding and perhaps I have never had better. This time I had the pot roast. It was expensive for pot roast ($25+). The cut of meat wasn't great (almost half fat). Vegetables weren't done and seemed to have been thrown... More

Went here for dinner while we were staying in the Williamsburg area. The menu has a wide variety of items. The service was good but I think the portions are a little small for the price. I had the lamb shank which was slightly above average in my opinion. I will say the two desserts we had were delicious.

We went there for brunch. we were there shortly after 11am and we were seated right away. Server was very nice and all her food recommendations were excellent. Every meal was so delicious including the hot chocolate! Will definitely eat there again the next time we are in Williamsburg

We are locals who stopped in for lunch. We waited about 30 minutes for a table, no real waiting area so you are standing around tables of dining guests. Hostess was somewhat surly and disorganized. Once seated however (at a table for 2 that sat clean and open for 10 minutes while we and other couples waited), dining experience was... More

We visit Williamsburg often, and can't imagine why until now we've never had lunch at The Blue Talon. Maybe because The Sandwich Shop one street over secures our lunch time attention each time we visit. Regardless, on New Years Day the other place was closed, so we decided to give The Blue Talon a try for mid-afternoon lunch. Am so... More

I randomly stopped there for my first meal in Colonial Williamsburg and it was Amazing! The open faced pot roast had a wine sauce that put it over the top and the chocolate mousse was just beyond good. If it wasn't a three hour drive away I'd eat there often.

The Blue Talon has all the class, atmosphere and cuisine of any bistro in Paris, including the reasonable price.
