Our third time having dinner at the Blue Talon. Food, service and atmosphere all great. The TV has old Julia Child TV cooking shows running continually. Nice touch. The seating can sometimes be a little cramped but only if its really crowded. Wife loved the Grilled Asparagus Salad. The Salmon Cake Salad was delicious too. One of my favorites is... More

Tried this establishment once for breakfast. The cold reception we received when entering hinted at our experience for breakfast. We thought the restaurant looked interesting and their menu sounded good. Well, not only was the staff unwelcoming and even a little snobby, the food was so-so.... it was interesting, but not particularly fabulous in any way and the price would... More

They have a good menu, good wine list, and a cozy atmosphere. Make a reservation so you wont have to wait. The service was fast and the food was hot a very tasty.

Really enjoyed lunch today. I had the pot roast, my husband the burger. We also enjoyed drinks with lunch. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

we have eaten at this restaurant on a previous visit, and enjoyed our dinner. This time we had a late lunch. The food wasn't bad by any measure, but it was just average.with all of the restaurants to choose from, we are likely not to go back. The service was excellent and our waitress was very friendly.

Stopped here for lunch while visiting Williamsburg in December. Busy place that has good food and great touches that make it special. And oh yeah, the food is phenomenal as well. In our party we had French onion soup, soup and sandwich, crepes, and the Mac and cheese. Every single one was really good. Since it is winter the soup... More

We we in need of a breakfast place and asked a local college student where to go and she said---Aroma's. Against our better judgement, we landed at the Blue Talon across the street. The service was wonderful but the breakfast, just OK and expensive. The eggs were terrible--appeared to be premixed and tasted rubbery. My omelette was dry --I only... More

I know that other reviews just go crazy for this place, but I don't get it. It's very nice to have a cool French restaurant in walking distance to the CW and all the shops, but there's more wrong here than right. First off, why does the waitstaff have to be so darn snooty? Are they trying to actually be... More

This is a nice French restaurant that serves a delicious breakfast. Big portions and good service. We were here before and liked it for when we wanted more in the morning. Certainly would go again when we are visiting Williamsburg.
