The Blue Talon has very delicious food. Menu is based on serious comfort food... Outstanding service and a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I have eaten here twice and been tragically disappointed with the food both times. It is not bad, but it is not good. The prices are high for the serving size, service is average, atmosphere is average for this part of Williamsburg. Don't waste your time

Had dinner with friends, party of four. Everyone raved about their meal. Same ownership as the Trellis which is also excellent.

I got the Mac 'n Cheese - absolutely delicious! I wanted to eat it all but it was a really big portion. Great atmosphere and relaxing detour from walking old Williamsburg. Great treat for us!

The food was good and mixed drinks were made strong! Especially enjoyed the large dessert menu! A little pricey but we would eat here again.

My wife and two of our friends had an opportunity to experience this lovely restaurant. All and all it was very nice, and wonderful wine selection, and wonderful things to choose from the menu. Service was very good, with the manager stopping by and asking how things were. All was very good, quality portions, very fresh, and very creative. Bob... More

At first I was very wary of the Bistro and was not initially impressed by the menu, boy was I glad I gave this restaurant a chance! The french onion soup was the best I have ever had. I had the chicken dish that comes with vegetables and mashed potatoes, it was absolutely delicious. For such a simple dish it... More

As our son is a W&M alum we have visited Williamsburg many times. We are here this week for his wedding! Last night my wife, my son and I ate at The Blue Talon for the first time. We had a wonderful experience! This is a fine (as in "fine dining") restaurant that truly knows how to "speak French"!! The... More

Shhhh! You're going to scare the folks away! "Fine Dining" is like a swear word! Seriously, though, thanks for such kind words, particularly from someone in the business. We have fun with the wine list and there are so many great classic "bistro" dishes that we will never run out of options! Hope we will see you again! Adam More

Wife had PEI mussels and I had soup and half-sandwich which were very good. Located in the upper left corner near the college which many might miss.

Honestly? I think the mussels taste so good because of the awesome mussel pots we found in Paris! A classic dish that never goes out of style. Thanks for posting your comments. More

Great food and charming atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. Convenient to historic buildings and wonderful off-street handicapped parking. One of the most expensive meals while in Williamsburg ... even for lunch.

Thank you for the flattery! We don't really think of ourselves as all that expensive but, as I've said to other reviewers, there are definitely plenty of choices for dining in Williamsburg and we know we aren't the cheapest. We hope that the atmosphere and quality make the overall experience worthwhile. Thanks for finding us and for sharing your kind... More
