My family and I had a good reasonably priced lunch here. The waiter was friendly and knowledgable of the menu selection. Overall I enjoyed it and would likely return when visiting Wiiliamsburg!

We look forward to eating at Food for Thought when we are in Williamsburg. The menu has something for everyone, great side dishes and a nice selection of beer and wine. The service is very friendly and they make an effort to ensure everyone is happy. Tips They don't reservations, but you can call ahead and get on the priority... More

Ended our week's vacation in Williamsburg with a dinner at Food for Thought. Had read good reviews and thought the menu looked interesting. Turned out to be a great night! We went on a Wednesday evening about 7:30 with a party of 8. Had a wait of about 40 minutes, but it was a nice night and we waited on... More

This has been the third time we've eaten at Food for Thought. Always impeccable service and fabulous food. This was lunch so had the Inca Quinoa Salad with steak. Fresh- steck done perfectly. Dessert was creme brulee, perfection in a cup.

Casual. Large menu. Big servings. Attentive service. Mindful of allergies. Wish we had more time left on vacation so we could come back!

I enjoyed the food and the decor. Meal and bar service were prompt and the food was tasty and served hot. My only 'con' would be the noise level, but I will certainly go again.

We went on a Sunday afternoon and will definitely be back. We ordered the turkey/stuffing and the meatloaf. Both were amazing.

The inside of the restaraunt had lovely quotes along the walls, a tiny gift store with interesting things, and the table held fun cards. The feel of the place was very good. The bread before dinner hit the spot. I ordered a type of berry salad and the berries were very fresh. Food for Thought is definitely worth the visit!

When my friend first suggested this restaurant, I was expecting your average all-American cuisine (the restaurant is literary/Americana themed, which is pretty interesting, but I didn't really expect much from the food). However, the menu ranges from fish to chicken to pasta dishes all with a variety of drinks. My fiance had the beer sampler, which gave sample size glasses... More

Our visit on July 27 was fabulous. The waitress was patient and kind. The food was over the top delicious- generous portions and hot from the kitchen. We would definitely return if ever in the area again.
