There was a good variety of meal choices. The meals we ordered were good (seasonal salad and a meat loaf), but very pricey. We ordered from the lunch menu, but were charged dinner prices.

Since I can't get back to Oklahoma for my mom's pot roast, this is a wonderful find -- comfort food in a relaxed and convenient setting. The wait staff was very welcoming and our food was served hot and delicious. We lingered over coffee but were too stuffed to try dessert -- next time!

Really, really good food and great service at this restaurant. Great selection of craft beers on tap. Go early or right before closing to avoid a wait. (But it is worth the wait anyway!)

Amazingly flavorful food with great service! Any restaurant that treats my kids like people gets extra points. Good kids menu and over the top regular menu. Crab cake grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes with Gruyere cheese was just amazing. One of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. Jamaican jerk chicken was spicy without burning. Crab cake kids meal was... More

Great variety of interesting dishes at reasonable prices. Very attentive and pleasant wait staff. One entree was not quite to the liking of a person in our party. The OWNER came over twice to offer any other choice, insisting he wanted her to be happy. She declined both times. Eventually he convinced her to accept a free desert. There was... More

Just missed the breakfast sitting decided to stay for lunch. Glad I did the food was great. They accommodated an allergy and went beyond the usual for checking ingredients. Try the wine fest. A sample of five wines, either white or red, and enjoy your own private wine tasting. My waitress Tara. Was amazing attentive and personalable. I will be... More

After a day of touring Colonial Williamsburg, we settled on Food For Thought. Being a planner, I had already printed their online dinner menu out for my family to look over while we waited (no reservations). When we were seated, our server was surprised we already knew what we wanted. For our appetizers we got: Da Vinci Dippers - A... More

Our family of four had dinner here on our vacation in Williamsburg. I will definitely say it was the best restaurant we ate at. We were seated quickly. The food was geat as well as the service. My husband and I both had the shrimp and grits dinner. I substituted mashed potatoes for the grits. The food was wonderful! We... More

We went on a Friday night and of course it was packed. We had to wait over an hour when I asked them before I gave our name how long they said only a half hour. The food was good but the waiter Paul was awesome. He was friendly, polite, and attentive. Ask for him if you go. Food was... More
