Description: This high-energy bistro took over as Williamsburg's best restaurant as soon as it opened in 2004. Those are the best scallops I have ever had in my 45 years. My wife's quail dinner was very juicy. I can't give a better review.

My husband and I spent four days traveling in VA for our anniversary. This was hands down the best restaurant we went to. Worth every penny. The food was of top quality, with no misses. The staff explained what was in the food if asked with great detail. Strongly recommend eating at this restaurant if you want fine dining in... More

I cannot find enough good words about the spectacular dinner my husband and I had here last night. My husband had foie gras, and I had a special soup, made with leeks and crab, which was delicate and full of flavor. The foie gras was close to the best we've ever tasted. For our entrée we shared a grouper, which... More

The hotel recommended this restaurant as being the most popular and the lines outside the restaurant indicate that it may be, however everything is ala carte and very expensive. If you like to spurge this is the place for you. If not, there are many other good places to eat.

Best meal we had in Williamsburg during a spring break trip in mid-March. Everything was fresh, flavorful and beautiful. Our 12 year old son ordered quail, a bit out of his norm. The waiter told us the chefs were worried he wouldn't take to it. Sure enough, when we looked toward the open kitchen, they were looking out to see... More

One of my all time favorite restaurants. I only eat at the bar because it is so much fin to interact with the other patrons. Never have had a bad meal. The food is always well prepared and innovative.

If you are touring or staying in Colonial Williamsburg this is a good restaurant to go to but make sure you make reservations because it is very popular and can get a little noisy at times. Overall the food is good, but be prepared to spend a little extra then normal.

Food and service were excellent, plus 1 party in our group is gluten intolerant and they were very accommodating. We ate at 4 different places in historic area and this was my favorite.

Food wonderful, wine selection greats and Paula our waitress was so knowledgeable about bothe the food and wine. She was also a great source of the VA Wines. We found a few VA wines on her recommendation that we would buy again.

We enjoyed an amazing anniversary dinner this past Friday- from our greeting at the door to the personalized menu for our anniversary- the entire staff was great. The food was amazing. We started with a viognier from Virginia that was exceptional. I allowed my husband and the server to convince me on the rabbit fricassee appetizer and I am so... More
