We had the seafood special and it was delicious. Nice restaurant with an outdoor terrace for pre dinner drinks for a special night out. All good things come at a price though!!

We stopped here after a full day at Colonial Williamsburg. (Note to folks: If you park at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor's Center, the busses run until after the Fat Canary closing during the summer months, making it convenient to park, visit the Colonial area, walk over to the Fat Canary for dinner, and take the bus back.) I made reservations... More

While the prices look a little high, the service and the food warrant it. The only downside is that the dining room is a little too crowded.

Everything about this place is top shelf. Yes, it is a bit pricey but worth it. I had the best pork chop I've ever eaten. The service was great without being over friendly. We can't afford to go frequently, but this will be a cherished "special occasion" spot.

Made reservations for dinner on our recent trip to Williamsburg. We arrived a bit early so we sat at the bar and had a few drinks prior to being seated. The service from the hostess, the bartender and the server was just exceptional- everyone addressed us by our name! Dinner was just as amazing. We started out with the Softshell... More

Restaurant looks fab. Service is very attentive and the food is superb. Recommend the pork chop. The wine list is impressively eclectic. A definite must if you are in Williamsburg.

This amazing family restaurant has been winning awards year after year so we wanted to try it. Thomas Power Jr, is the Executive Chef and one of the owner family members. His incredible creativity and talent shows in every one of his dishes. The family members are all very much hands on 24 hours a day. In my view, the... More

The scallops were big, plentiful and cooked to perfection. The leg of lamb was perfect, best my husband ever tasted. The salad was very good too. Nice selection of wines. Excellent meal, a good place to go for a treat if your in the mood to splurge. Not for those who are watching their pennies. Cheese shop offers an excellent... More

We've been loyal customers of the cheese shop for many years. This time for my wife and I birthday I decided to try their restaurant, Newhart a great decision. It started with the reservation which I made on Opentable, they called me to verify and asked if we celebrate, which we were. We arrived to the restaurant and were quickly... More

Already written review for Cheese Shop. Guess same comments apply to Cheese Shop. Two front doors, but interconnected inside.
