Both a sandwich shop and store to buy bread, cheese, snacks. They have wonderful seating right on Merchant's Square. From the wine store in the basement, you can buy a bottle to drink on the premises--they will give you wine glasses for a deposit that's returned when you bring back the glasses. Go to the back, order your sandwiches and... More

We stopped for sandwiches. We had to wait about 10 minutes and there was no where to sit but it was just a short walk down the street to eat at picnic tables in a nearby park. The sandwiches (one pastrami and one chicken salad) were pretty good. Not outstanding but good. Also bought a huge pickle and some cheese... More

Best place on Duke of Gloucester Street to sit outside with beer, wine, cheese or a sandwich. Selections of all great and good.

The shop was not what we had expected. Going in we thought that we would find a large selection of cheeses to choose from. We were looking cheese to have with crackers later. We were very disappointed in the very minimal selection of cheese products. They do sell sandwiches and other to go meals which I am sure are good... More

Good place to get a quick lunch. They have their system down to move lots of folks through. Order you sandwich, then pick up what you want to drink and they call you when sandwiches are ready. Pay in the front. Small seating inside, but ample seating outside.

Fun place to grab a fresh sandwich from the deli or gourmet cheese plate and sit outside to enjoy the sights. Our 8 year old had the "corned" dog and the rest of us had delicious sandwiches on homemade bread! Plan to visit when you can check out the wine cellar! Busy place where you stand and order and then... More

After seeing 4 .5 stars and rave reviews on Tha Colonial Williamsburg site we really wanted to try this place. It was underwhelming and no where near as good as the review. I had the corned beef and it was tasty but about the size of a finger sandwich. My wife had the turkey and they forget to put the... More

We waited fifteen minutes for mediocre sandwiches. Small portions of tuna salad and chicken salad. they forgot the peppers I ordered. No lettuce or tomato. Bread was good, but did not make up for small portion.
