Good sandwiches

Good place to get a quick lunch. They have their system down to move lots of folks through. Order you sandwich, then pick up what you want to drink and they call you when sandwiches are ready. Pay in the front. Small seating inside, but ample seating outside.

Fun place to grab a fresh sandwich from the deli or gourmet cheese plate and sit outside to enjoy the sights. Our 8 year old had the "corned" dog and the rest of us had delicious sandwiches on homemade bread! Plan to visit when you can check out the wine cellar! Busy place where you stand and order and then... More

After seeing 4 .5 stars and rave reviews on Tha Colonial Williamsburg site we really wanted to try this place. It was underwhelming and no where near as good as the review. I had the corned beef and it was tasty but about the size of a finger sandwich. My wife had the turkey and they forget to put the... More

We waited fifteen minutes for mediocre sandwiches. Small portions of tuna salad and chicken salad. they forgot the peppers I ordered. No lettuce or tomato. Bread was good, but did not make up for small portion.

This is a favorite of William & Mary students, and there is a reason for that. Everything served here is very tasty, and there is an overwhelming variety of what to choose from. For being nestled only yards away from the entrance to Colonial Williamsburg, prices are fairly reasonable. Tables are outside, with umbrellas to provide shade. Dogs are really... More

The store has many items but seems a bit crowded! The deli part was very busy with a nice variety to select from.

Salami & cheese on homemade pumpernickel, a cold beer, and great brownies or cookies! What more could you ask for in a self serve lunch break? We relaxed at a tree shaded table and soaked in the market square atmosphere between Colonial Williamsburg & the College of William & Mary.

I love the cheese shop and have eaten there for almost 40 years.great selection of cheeses, wines, and imported goodies. made to order sandwiches, the business has been around for ever. and of course, there is their "house Sauce" which you can now buy by the jar!! Thank you, Cheese Shop owners, we love you!!! K. Brown, Williamsburg, Va.

This place reminded me of Zingerman's in Ann Arbor, MI. Because there is a humongous selection of deli meats, cheeses, breads, sides, and drinks. The choices are overwhelming and dizzying. But the bottom line is that the mouth-watering food is worth the hassle of standing in line amid a crowd of people, waiting patiently for your order, and then trying to... More

We got sandwiches from this shop...great price 6$ a sandwich and delicious! Staff was very friendly and warm. The house dressing is the best! Great price, great food, and perfect for lunch! We took our sandwiches to go as seating is limited...we ate on a park bench outside and enjoyed watching people shuffle by.
