Good basic sandwich shop. Nothing special or out of the ordinary. It is located in the heart of a tourist area so it will normally be crowed for ordering, service, and seating. Sandwiches are good so if the line is short, I recommend!

This is a good deli to stop at for a reasonably priced quick sandwich or to shop for some unusual gift foods. We arrived on a day that was not too busy so our order came up quickly and people had the time to be friendly. There are some places to sit inside and lots of places outside. We had... More

The sandwiches here are amazing and totally affordable. don't forget to get a glass of wine from the downstairs cellar to accompany your meal. The pate sandwich and shrimp salad sandwich were fantastic.

The cheese shop has a great variety of cheeses but also many things to go with the cheese. In a separate space downstairs they sell wine so you can make a meal and sit outside at tables or take it home.

This is one of our must hit spots when in Virginia! The girls behind the counter are very accommodating. I recommend trying a variety of different cheeses before making your selection-they are generous about giving customers samples so take advantage and try a new cheese! You will not be disappointed. We usually get the cheese plate, which gives you a... More

Not our first time to the Cheese Shop and go back every time we are in Williamsburg. They are very helpful and offer samples of cheese before you Buy. Stop in the basement to get a Wine to go with your cheese!

The Cheese shop has an extremely large variety of cheeses. They also sell other items like sandwiches, and other items to go with your cheese like pepperoni, or a variety of bread.

The sandwiches are very good and well prepared. Although, good natured and generally well mannered, the crowds tend to but me off.

Going to Williamsburg for the first time, my wife kept raving about this "Cheese Shop" that she's always loved going to.... so, of course we went. Was the sandwich and chips I got there decent? Sure, it was good enough. Nothing I couldn't have gotten at Panera or pretty much any other sandwich shop, though. So, in my opinion, it certainly... More

The hustle and bustle of this popular cheese shop and deli make it feel like you have found the hot spot! But escape the crowd with your cheese, bread, sausage and returnable souvenir glass of wine to picnic on Merchant's Square and you and your date will feel you've made it to Paris!
