The menu is very limited, and the sides are a bit on the pricey side but over all not a bad place to eat.

While on vacation we like to eat at more local places than chains. Our hotel suggested this place but I'm sure they were paid to do so. The inside is very outdated and the waitresses are, too. The menu is pretty limited and SUPER expensive. A side of meat was over $5. The pancakes were terrible. For a pancake house,... More

This place is better than any breakfasts we've experienced over the years in Williamsburg, but still not great. Like the Dutch decor and outfits the servers wear. Still the best breakfast place we found here, but still looking for better.

I do like to patronize the locals, and this seemed like a fine privateer restaurant candidate. A true retro 60's cafe, but not designed that way. To say it was a little dated is an understatement. Interior furniture, lights and wait staff must be original issue...Amish style uniforms. Our waitress was very nice. Food was ordinary, and limited menu compared... More

I would not return here. How bad can a pancake house be? Go to Mama Steves to find out. For starters, I sat in the booth and seat cracked! We had been to another pancake house that had a huge menu, Mama Steves had basic sausage and egg meals, along with pancakes. I will say that our waitress was very... More

the family wanted pancakes so we thought we would give this place a drive when we drove by. We weren't disappointed in the quality or service. My husband and I are still talking about the coffee, I am not sure exactly what type of coffee it was but it was great; perfect temperature and flavor. They had regular and flavored... More

The food and the service were very good. No one should ever go away hungry. Not sure if you will need lunch or whatever your next meal would be!

We saw this place and one of our party said they wanted to try breakfast here since his name was Steve. On Saturday morning we decided to eat here on our way out of town. It is a very popular spot. The service is great with some very adorable servers. The tables turn over quickly so the wait was short.... More

My husband and I first went here 5 years ago and the pancakes were great. We always made sure we ate breakfast here durning our visits to Williamsburg but this visit was just awful!!! We read the negative reviews prior to going but we had to try for ourselves. I ordered the blueberry pancakes on the recommendation of the server... More

I have never visited this restaurant before so I was hesitant upon arrival because I wasn't able to check the tripadvisor reviews before we got here! We were seated immediately and greeted by a person putting placemats on our table who then promptly slammed down the silverware and walked away. I didn't appreciate that. 10 minutes later our drink order... More
