Pricey for breakfast. Food is reasonable.

My ordered the only real "full meal" on the menu, which is the large platter. My friend ordered chocolate chip pancakes and sausage. We both ordered coffee. I realize that tax isn't their fault (although 11% is insane), but after tip, breakfast for 2 was over $40. The large platter comes... read more

Very simple menu but always great food and most of the time great service. Never had lunch there (and they're closed for dinner) but it is one of the more reliably good breakfasts around Williamsburg.

An updated blast from the past, this is a must. Clean and nice inside, uniformed staff, VERY POLITE service and wonderful food. Everything was cooked to perfection. Thank you for the wonderful treat!

This blue and white decorated establishment was inviting when we arrived and all the servers were wearing quaint blue dresses with white aprons. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast (scrambled) with hash browns and toast while my husband just ordered tea and toast. My scrambled eggs had some nearly raw, very runny, parts within that I just couldn't eat and... More

On our way out of Williamsburg we decided to stop by this place for breakfast. Our server was very attentive and full of fun things to do. She offered several different inside locations since today was raining and things we hadn't even thought of. A little dark, but charming with the staff in uniforms. Will have to come back.

My family decided to try Mama Steve's on the suggestion of my sister who used to live in Williamsburg. She promised a unique experience with servers in colonial Dutch clothing. My husband and I ordered omlettes and 2 pancakes for and extra $2.50. My 2 kids got kids meals. Our bill was $43! The food was average. We were charged... More

Nice little place to have breakfast. Always packed when we've been. Could be a little cleaner with the tables and dishes. Table was sticky and coffee cup had lipstick on it when it was brought to table. But waitress was nice and very apologetic, and immediately brought us another cup.

We were in Williamsburg for the weekend with our daughter who was attending a conference there. Our daughter insisted we eat breakfast at Mama Steves because she had eaten there before and was pleased with it. We were seated immediately. The service was exceptional and so was the food. Everyone at our table had breakfast food. Would highly recommend this... More

We dined here on a Sunday morning. Waited about 5 minutes for a table. Menu is not large but hits all the basics. I had a bacon and cheese omelette and it was stuffed full. Asked for crispy potatoes and that's what I got! Everybody liked their meals. Pancakes were good. Side of bacon was huge. Best part was the... More
