I stopped for a quick lunch and had the Soup of the Day--crab, delicious. But what made my decision to order was looking at the desserts and seeing a mile-high version of apple pie. The reality was even better: stacks of thin-cut layers of fresh apples, just enough sugar and spice, enveloped a delicious crust. Their recipe has redefined excellent... More

Broad range of coffees and teas plus excellent choices of food for breakfast or lunch. We went back several times and there were always students on their laptops.

Well, the title says it all. Big W&M hangout, plus lots of locals who need their caffeine fix. Cakes and pastries are killer and the sandwiches are terrific. Get a punch card because you will come back. Very friendly staff, better prices than Starbucks.

Great place, great location. Really good food, baked treats, coffee drinks, etc. but it can get crowded on the weekends. It's a block from DOG street in CW but isn't as touristy as other nearby restaurants. Good for brunch.

While waiting for Blue Talon Bistro to open for brunch on a Sunday morning, we stopped in to this quaint coffee shop for a cup of coffee. They're really busy and packed but we're still able to wait on us quickly. They have a large selection of coffees, both fresh brewed and coffee novelties. They also have a few big... More

We've eaten at Aroma's for brunch and lunch on previous visits. But on this trip we Stopped in for a quick dinner on a Wednesday evening and found the grilled portobello mushroom with pesto, cheese and a mixed green salad to be satisfying. We had a coupon for 1/2 off a second entree in the discount book for Merchant's Square... More

Stopped into Aromas for a quick breakfast with family before a college tour of William & Mary. Great location, service and food! The poached eggs and grits were tasty.

We dropped in a lunchtime on William and Mary's Homecoming Weekend, so it is not surprising that there was a large crowd and that ordering and finding a seat were a bit of a trial. The food was good but not spectacular, and the price was average.

A very casual place to hang out, and relax. They had the best Jasmine tea, it brought me back three times during my short visit to Williamsburg. The sandwiches were terrific, and I'm not a sandwich person. I had a side of fruit salad once, and really enjoyed it. Great to have wifi, and one time we sat outside and... More

A nice place, does not stand on ceremony, good coffee, and a super array of pastries. Their dinner items are plain and simple. I had the blackened salmon that came on a bed of quinoa and legumes, the sauce was a bit on the sweet side for my palate but it was nicely presented and fresh! A good simple meal.... More
