While the desserts may be tasty, the coffee is just terrible. I like the atmosphere but coffee served from a carafe is not my idea of a 'Cafe'. On more than one occassion I have had cold coffee or very strong coffee. I have better coffee at Wawa up the street. more
This is a nice break from certain corporate coffee shops. My husband and I had a Sunday morning breakfast here, and we really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious (he had a breakfast burrito, I had the strawberry crepes), although I wish my dish would have been larger. It was more like "strawberry crepe" than "strawberry crepes." I ate at Aroma's several times during my stay in Williamsburg in May 2008. I was disappointed they stop serving breakfast before I was able to get up and get there except on Sundays. They do serve pastries and baked goods longer. I ate a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese, which was good. The cream cheese was basic Philadelphia... more
I always go back to visit Aromas when I travel to Williamsburg...I went to school there and lived there a few years back. When I return, I always make a point take my daughter to Aromas to enjoy hot chocolate, a small snack, or some of their delicious baked goods. I'm never disappointed! I'm looking forward to return visits to... more
I don't actually eat at Aromas often, though I do go there for coffee more
We had outstanding "fu-fu" coffees here. Delicious in a cute settnig. more
The cakes here were a little too sweet for my taste but the atomosphere is great. The European drinking chocolate is DIVINE! I dreamt about it & was so upset I was no longer visiting the area & could get some more! more
The place that locals and tourists alike go to - it's a great coffee/food place. Good coffee and smoothies, love their curried chicken salad, and you should try their breakfast offering that has crab and ham - it's great! Also one of the few places in all of Hampton Roads where you can stop by just for a great piece... more
