Best Prime RIb Ever

Recently my husband and I visited Williamsburg, VA. We were given a coupon for Aberdeen's for a three course meal for two from the Greensprings Resort. Prime Rib was one of the choices. We both ordered it and agreed that it was the best Prime Rib we ever had. Our appetizer of corn chowder was also... read more

Never would I think one of my favorite meals and dining experiences would come from a restaurant with the name Barn in it! WE came as a group of six for a dinner after spending a busy day in downtown Williamsburg. There are plenty of places to eat, but this place came highly recommended. They are well known for their... There was almost no one in the restaurant, however it is a slow tourist time when we visited. The service was fine, however the food was average. I felt it was a little over priced. They need to enlarge their wine by the glass selection. All in all it was ok, but expensive for what we got.

My one and only experience was on Fathers Day about 10 years ago. My daughter had set up a surprise celebration, the place was crowded, the food was good, the service was the worst I've experienced in my 68 years. Will NOT return.

We googled Steak places & this turned out to be the best bet for the money. The atmosphere is very cozy and the service was excellent. The proof was in the food & the steaks (filet, princess cut) came out sizzling and hot. All very good!!! Will definitely return here when we visit Williamsburg again.

On check in at our hotel, they gave us a number of restaurant coupons, so on the night of the grand Illumination in Colonial Williamsburg, we wanted to eat away from the town, so we chose this coupon to use. Though the restaurant has a very nice and varied menu, we opted to use our coupons for a 3 course... More

We have eaten there a few years ago. The atmosphere has gone down hill somewhat and could use some updating of decor and furniture. The crock cheese prior to the meal is always a favorite, a nice touch. Our steaks were cooked as requested. My husband found his prime rib to have a lot of fat but what he could... More

This establishment has been in business for almost 50 years and after visiting, I understand why people love it. Great food, served in a charming atmosphere.

We enjoyed our dinner that included 15 of us ladies during our Women's Retreat. The meal was served with grace and elegance. The ladies enjoyed the atmosphere and especially the desserts.
