Friendly only goes so far

Four of us went to get pizza after a long day. The waitress was extremely friendly - joking with us, acting like a big sister, etc. A nice piece of entertainment that was unexpected in the "South." The house salad was one slice of tomato, a slice of onion and iceberg lettuce. The bread was... read more

We had a coupon from a vacation flyers that we picked up and by purchasing two meals for $12.95 each we got a free bottle of wine. The food was very good and plentyfull. The staff was very friendly. We went back the second night for pizza which was also good!

We stumbled across Sal' s as it was so close to our hotel. What a great find for us. Pizza and beer the first night. Dinners and beer on our next trip. Both nights we had excellent (including quick) service and really great food. Everyone was so nice and the food, right down to the salad dressing, was delicious. Prices... More

I have got to say I was not impressed. I am 100% Italian and that food tasted like 10%. You could find better "Italian" in a bar!. The sauce tasted canned, ravolie tasted frozen and bread tasted dry. Now let's talk about the bill... My bill was reasonable until the person who I paid tacked on extra money so in... More

Two couples went to Sals while visiting Williamsburg. We were not disappointed. We had the penne with vodka sauce, lasagne, mushroom ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs. All selections were delicious. The waitress was efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is rather plain, but we truly enjoyed our meals.

Tucked into a shopping area on Richmond Street is one of the best Italian restaurants I've ever been to. The service was good and the food was outstanding. Don't miss their salads either. The homemade salad dressing is awesome. They have a very large menu to choose from and numerous types of wine. Sal's is easy to miss if you... More

Enjoyed a very good Italian meal at the original Sals. Service was quick and friendly. Located in a shopping center, a little hard to find but worth the visit.

They had gluten free for one in our party. Ample portions, good food. A bus arrived mid way through our meal, got a little loud, but not bad. i had the lasagna which was tasty and ample portion. Wife had a shrimp linguini alfredo, which she enjoyed. It was a large portion.

I was in Williamsburg on a girl trip weekend... my friend and I checked into our hotel, and then headed out to look for something to eat. We found Sal's... Our waiter (Paul) was absolutely awesome... he was very friendly and attentive, he even went so far as to find us a deck of cards because he overheard us discussing... More
