Couldn't be more disappointed with this establishment. We knew from the moment we entered this would be an experience. We were promptly sat at a table and were the only people in to dine at 12:30 on a weekend afternoon... A few more people did trickle in as we were there. Our waitress was wearing dingy clothes... This is just... More

We took our daughter and children for an Italian meal. The atmosphere was one up from a pizza place. However the Italian dishes were ample and tasty good. They were good about making little changes to satisfy the children's tastes. The price was average for an Italian restaurant. I would return again if there was not another place I wanted... More

We were not real hungry so we shared a 3 meat pizza. It was awesome. We were full when we left and had two slices left over. Service was good and a pleasant atmosphere.

After a long, fun-filled day at Water Country, Nana was too pooped to pop never mind cook! We did the right thing by calling Sal's and ordering our dinner to be delivered. Delivery was a mere 40 minutes from call in to table. We ordered the eggplant parm with ziti, meatballs, a Caesar salad, calamari with fries for the three... More

I can't rate the location because we ordered delivery but man the food was great! My hubby is a big Philly Cheesesteak fan and he loved it. The pizza was some of the best we've ever had. They gave us an accurate estimate on the delivery time to our hotel, the price was what you'd expect. Daughter had the cheese... More

We came across Sal's on a recent visit to Williamsburg. We try to avoid the "chain" restaurants when traveling, in order to enjoy what the area has to offer. The place was quiet, but clean with very good pizza. It was budget-friendly when feeding a family. Would recommend for casual dining.

My husband and I went to Sal's while we were staying in Williamsburg as part of our east coast trip for our honeymoon from the UK. Having read mostly favourable reviews on TA we were looking forward to a meal there. We arrived and were asked, not in an especially interest of welcoming tone, whether we wanted a table. We... More

One star is being generous. Eggplant rollitini had zero eggplant and tons of canned red sauce. Chicken caccicatore had a miniscule amount of chicken. Side salad was a joke. Small plate of anemic iceberg lettuce that wasn't even green, with three rings of onion and tiny tomato wedge. They keep these" salads" stacked up on top of one another in... More

We found Sals on the way back to our hotel. The restaurant is quaint and clean and our waitress was excellent. Our order came quickly and the portion size was more than enough. I had the chicken parm sub and my daughter had the Italian hoagie. Both subs were on par with what we've had elsewhere. If I'm ever back... More

When ever I am back in Williamsburg I will eat at Sal's. Great food and family atmosphere. The Rigatoni I had was outstanding, cooked to perfection and seasoned exactly to my liking. The Penne with vodka sauce was superb , my companion raved about it. Prices were as I expected. I will most surely eat here again.
