The restaurant is closed for renovations, however, nothing seems to have been done. This restaurant is located in the Historical Powhatan Resort.

Good menu with choices for non-met eaters. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. Reasonable prices.

My wife and I have ate there 3 times. The first time was on our Honeymoon in 1994 and the last time was September 2013. Although very pricey....Well worth it. The food was plentiful and if you left hungry thats your fault! This IS NOT the place over the indoor pool. We ate there twice and wasn't impressed but the... More

We stayed at the Historic Powhatan resort so did try this place. It's in the area above the indoor pool, hot tub and spa. Nothing special and the menu is a list of fast foods that can be found cheaper at the local Denny's. The drinks are cheap which was good but the food was greasy and not well cooked... More

My wife and I have a wedding anniversary on October the 5th. I made reservations well in advance. An employee from the restaurant called me on October the 4th and told me they had closed for maintenance issues. She told me they would not be reopening

I ate at the Kitchen last night. It's a quaint little restaurant. Warm and inviting. Lovely ambience. I attended the wine pairing dinner. We had four courses. Squash bisque with a Chardonnay; beef tenderloin with a sparkling dry wine; bacon-wrapped roasted pork on a small bed of sweet potatoes with a Pinot Noir; and a chocolate mousse (infused with some... We ate here only because we had a $25 voucher for staying at the Greensprings Resort. It was check out day so we decided to eat breakfast out. There is a small playground for children just outside the door which helps burn off some extra energy before a long ride home. There were five of us for breakfast; the wait... More

The kitchen is fine, and the food is good. But, the place is really small. If you are going in the peak season, reservations will definitely be in order. Try the local wines. They have an extensive list, and it supports the local businesses.

We ate here thinking we were going to the buffet. The buffet is only on Mondays. Sigh. We were staying at the resort, so we wanted to try it out. When we got there, there was only 2 other tables. However, service was rather slow. Food was decent and the price was OK. It's AVERAGE! Rating is 0-10 with 10... More

They made our 40th Anniversary celebration very special - they gave us a gift and had everyone sing to us. Food was excellent, wines were paired well but not great wines. Service was interesting ;-) and fun. Not the best meal I've ever had but was quite good and would definitely go back again. I would give a 4 1/2... More
