This was hands down the worst cafe I have ever been to, that includes hospital cafes. First off it is not a cafe at all, it is a cafeteria, you stand in line with a tray to get over priced and under heated food. I grabbed a pre made plain Jell-o (at a cost $3.50!) because I figured it would... More

Food was ok, but ridiculously expensive. For 4 adults to eat it came to almost $60 and we barely had anything. They charged $2 for a carton of milk - who does that? Very disappointed in the overall dining experience, especially since it is a family attraction. More

Summary: Not Recommended. Go somewhere else and have a better lunch, for less. Food quality is poor. Bill: expensive. Couldn’t get cheese pizza right. Only positive is its easy location: In the Jamestown Settlement Visitor’s Center, so its very simple to just stay there and eat and continue with you touring. The Cafe has a nice setting and very ample... More

Just had to write a short note - I have been making bread pudding for over 35 years from the same New Orleans recipe - and always claim to make the best, but the bread pudding my husband and I shared (there was plenty!) was the most delicious I have ever tasted! More

Jamestown Settlement takes advantage of a somewhat captive audience by jacking up the prices at their in-house restaurant. It doesn't help that prices aren't marked on many items. I said "REALLY?!" out loud when the cashier told us our total. It may be a pain to head out elsewhere for lunch, but you should do it anyway. More

I just returned from an 8-night/7-day trip to the Williamsburg and Jamestown area and was pleasantly surprised at the cafe in the Jamestown Settlement Museum. We -- my 2 friends and I -- had just finished seeing the ships and the fort and were hungry and very thirsty. We thought we'd check out the cafe to see if anything appealed... More

What a nice surprise to find such a great restaurant in a museum. We had spent the morning visiting the museum and enjoyed the recreation of the story of the settlers. We were famished and wanted something to eat and all morning we could smell that something was cooking on the grill. This forced us to swing by the café,... More

I attended the MIlitary Through the Ages program this past weekend (March 21-22, 2009). I had the Brunswick stew in a bread bowel, a bag of Ruffles originial chips, a 32 ounce drink and an orange. My bill came to $15.84 I almost lost my lunch thinking about how much lunch costs. Go shopping ahead of time or stop to... More

The Jamestown Settlement Cafe was a pleasant surprise for a family lunch after spending the morning touring the Jamestown Settlement. They have a good selection of foods including salads, sandwiches, pizza, stews/chili, hot dogs, etc. Lots of snacks and dessert items as well. Nice seating area in the cafe with plenty of room for various size groups. The staff was... More
