Highly recommend the excellent country ham. Well prepared, hot food. Very friendly, attentive and accommodating staff. Enjoyed perusing the shop after breakfast. Would go back.

Ate breakfast there twice recently and it is still wonderful. Good selection of breakfasts and lunches. Moderately priced. A nice gift shop is on the same premises also. Ample parking

We stopped for a late breakfast on our way out of Williamsburg. We were not familiar with the restaurant, but loved the offer of country ham and antiques on their sign. We all ordered eggs and ham, which also came with biscuits, but not the type of biscuits we have had before. The biscuits rolled thin and cut square ...... More

If Williamsburg is on your upcoming list of vacation spots be sure to include a stop for breakfast and/or lunch in your itinerary here. Although it is not located in the central Historic District it is worth the time the to drive distance of perhaps two miles. It is on the way to Jamestown. Homemade ham biscuits, Brunswick stew and... More

My wife and I ate here while riding our motorcycle one afternoon. We had some friends who said they loved the food and atmosphere. They were right; the food was tasty and the staff was friendly. We had the Miss Melinda's Special, which was superb. The visit was relaxing and we enjoyed it. The parking lot is tight, very tight... More

We had a really neat experience finding this great restaurant. It is quite small, but the food is great. It has a VERY limited menu, but it is quite nice. They also have a really neat gift shop as well. I would recommend this place just to see the quaintness of it.

What a find! Their food is unbelievable! I had the chicken pastry, my husband had the "special". Their dessert was "off the charts". Great Sweet tea and all served in the atmosphere of a colonial home...service was 5 star! We will go back here EVERY TIME we visit Williamsburg. DONT MISS THIS ONE!!!!

Established in 1955, it has hosted stars and tourists. I have almost never been there that I have not had to wait for a table, but never fear, you can entertain yourself by shopping in their unique gift shop. I have purchased many special birthday and Christmas gifts there for my friends and family - some were antiques or handmade... More

I have taken my children for many years as they were growing up and now have the utmost pleasure of taking our grandaughter too. We always love to see Maxine and her fine staff... More

Based on reviews and the restaurant website we thought that “Old Chickahominy House” Restaurant would be an interesting and enjoyable place for breakfast. We first tried to go on a Sunday; not only was it crowded but they had stopped serving breakfast. We returned a couple of days later and had no difficulty being seated. It was not what we... More
