We came up to your establishment today and was very disappointed with the food. We ordered the Iskenderun and "Beef Kabob". The vegetables were nasty. Microwaved vegetables, pita bread was not real pita bread and the meat was nasty. Anyone to can open a package if meat and cook it. The Iskender was nasty. I take it canned tomatoe sauce... More

The food was great as was the service. A lot of menu items were more expensive than I expected. We ended up eating here due to a long wait at another restaurant.

There are fast food Greek restaurants in Williamsburg--but we appreciate Nazar's, since their food does not come from a steam table. That means it takes a bit longer, but we've found it's worth the wait. Last week I had the daily gyro special: lamb with spinach and didn't care for it as much as the regular gyro. A couple of... We stopped here for a late lunch and got fresh made hot bread with hummus, wonderful salads and chicken kabobs, and delicious freshly steamed vegetables. ..my son ate every bite of the veggies! Dessert was chocolate topped pudding that was their specialty. ..delicious. Total bill for the food was about $35. The chef also made us a yogurt drink that... More

After reading some of the reviews here I didn't know what to expect. The restaurant is not far from our house and my husband and I decided to give it a shot. We were pleasantly surprised. The appetizers seemed a little pricey ($8 for hummus) but when we ordered we saw that it was in fact a huge portion with... More

Family dined here on a Sunday evening. Food was less than expected. Ground lamb was tough. Best fare for the evening was the sampler appetizer. Waitress was only four days experienced.

We have gone to Nazar restaurant many times, the food and service has been great. Not last night. The new wait staff need a lot of training. There is a lot more to waiting tables then taking an order. The food was just OK. Maybe it was a bad night or maybe Nazar has a different manager. Saturday night and... More

We arrived in Williamsburg late on a Sunday. Nazar was close to where we were staying and fit the bill. What a wonderful surprise to actually receive great service, food and good wine after a day on the road. The waiter and I suspect part of the owner/management team was on top of things and could answer all our menu... More

We arrived late Sunday evening for our stay in Williamsburg. With no idea of where to eat and found Nazar on Trip Advisor. We decided it sounded like a place worth trying. We were quiet happy with our choice. The food, atmosphere and service were all quiet good. I'm sure we'd return if we lived in this area. My husband... More

This is the second time we were there. Great humous both times but a little pricey. Great turkish meat balls both times. VERY poor beef kabob. Meat was small cubes and very tough. The "kabob" was not served on a skewer and the side of vegetables was supposed to be part of the skewer. When we told the waiter that... More
