Lovely cup of tea

Went for tea with my step daughter who attends W&M. We thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches, dessert and tea. Very small and quaint; filled up quickly around lunch time. I should have researched better before going-they don't accept credit cards (not a biggie). I ran to the ATM down the street while... read more

Get here early or make a reservation. La Petite is an understatement. A mother daughter operation the food is fresh and homemade. Prices are very reasonable. It was a nice respite from the sensory overload of going through the "mall".

How any one can give this less than 5 stars is beyond me! I think this will be the most raving review I have ever posted on trip advisor! If you do not stop for a visit to Miss Jeans tea house in the Williamsburg Antique Mall, you've wasted your entire trip to the area! Not to mention the mall... More

Interesting place, but the tea is good. I did not prefer a meal, but it was a nice place for a cup of coffee. The staff are senior citizens but very attentive.

La Petite Tearoom is a wonderful surprise in the middle of the Williamsburg Antique Mall. The food is fresh and delicious. Everything is made fresh by the proprietor, Jean, daily. Her baked goods are heavenly and her company is even better!

I never would have expected to find such a place in the middle of an antique mall. For a first visit to Williamsburg, this was an excellent find. The food is absolutely amazing, especially the Reuben. The setting is small, quiet, and comfortable. This is definitely a must-visit location for anyone in the area.

The tea room was a wonderful surprise in the middle of a antique mall. The food was wonderful loved my chicken salad sandwich and the apricot scone with lemon curd was to die for. My husband fell in love with Jean if we lived closer we would definitely be regulars. Thank you Jean for a wonderful time Jackie and Gary... More

I never expected to find a tearoom in the middle of an antiques mall! It is very small, but filled with lots of things you expect in a tearoom. The owner and staff were very gracious. We were treated to complimentary cups of soup (YUMMMM!) and samples of sandwiches we hadn't ordered. The chicken salad sandwiches we had ordered were... More

When my friend and I went to the tea room with our husbands, we were unsure of how our lunch would be, but we all were pleasantly surprised. The soup, sandwiches and desserts were excellent!! The scones were better than those we've had in England. We will definitely return when we are in Willaimsburg.

Although I've been to the Williamsburg Antique Mall many dozens of times over the years, I only recently tried the little tea room this past weekend. The Potato soup was delicious as were the grilled sandwiches. Everything homemade by the dear elderly lady who owns the place. She's as sweet as can be, very thoughtful and goes out of her... More
