I had a beer here with my dad... they have a great draught beer selection! They have rotating beers on tap, so I got to try the St. George Russian Imperial Stout from a few years back. Overall, the place had friendly staff, a nice ambiance, and I hope to come back soon to see a live band and to... More

We have been coming to Williamsburg since 2010. Found O & A on trip advisor and decided to give it a shot back in 2010. We have been back every year. We usually get something different each time we are there, but the fish and chips this visit were some of the best that I have eaten. The burgers are... More

I wanted a place to watch the 49er game and had heard about it. Right off the bat I have to say it was clean and warm feeling. I sat at the bar and Jen waited on me. She was great! My drinks were perfect and the BBQ quesadilla was really good A nice change from the norm. The staff... More

We have been to Oceans & Ale no less than six times. They are consistently good. It's a place that's not all stuck up and full of themselves. It's casual dinning. There is dinning room seating, bar stool seating, booth seating, high top table seating enough to support parties eight or more and there is a patio with a tropical... More

Looking for something to do after dark my wife and I decided to enjoy some drinks and live music at Oceans and Ale. We arrived about 10 minutes before the band was set to play and found the place to be packed. Danielle was working as the hostess and, on top of being incredibly friendly, made every effort to quickly... More

The atmosphere of this place is great. The food is wonderful. You get a good amount of food for your money. The service was good as well. Definitely recommend this place!

We arrived on Friday, July 25th and found out they were having their 1st Annual Steal the Pint & Luau. The place was packed, but the wait was only about 25 mins, and the wait was worth every minute. The service was amazing (thank you Ryan), the food was great (especially the luau BBQ pork platter), the Big Wave beer... More

Great food at reasonable prices in a casual environment. The server was very pleasant and friendly. He answered all of our questions and offered suggestions. Will definitely return.

This place was highly rated on Trip adviser, so we thought we'd give it a try. The hostess said she would seat us in 20 minutes, so we had a beer at the bar. Nearly an hour later she seated us after I complained. We had fish and chips, which should be good in a seafood place. Pretty bland. At... More

We went to Oceans&Ale twice during our vacation in Williamsburg. The first time was delicious and really hit the spot; I ordered the strawberry salad. The second time I ordered the seafood mac n cheese which was a strange combination that I didn't really care for. The server wasn't as skilled the second time, but overall the restaraunt is really...
