Will definitely be back

We went there for a special occasion. Nice ambiance. Excellent service(David was our server) and great food. They greeted us with champagne for my wife's birthday. They had a good wine list, being on the grounds of The Williamsburg Winery.

We've been here several times before, the most recent being last night for a family birthday dinner. It was fabulous! My duck was cooked to perfection, juicy and succulent. The braised root vegetables that adorned it were also wonderful. My only suggestion would be to lighten up on the citrus in the apple gallette dessert - it was a little... More

My wife & I went to Napa Valley for our Honeymoon in 2004. We had an unforgettable French meal @ Thomas Keller's French Laundry. This dinner matched that epic experience. Food, Service, & Staff made for a memorable evening. & save room for desert mmm.

We went to Cafe Provençal for our anniversary. It was everything you could ask for in a fine dining experience. The food was fantastic. The lamb was the best I have had in years. It is definitely a place we will visit again.

Very small romantic spot. I think i counted fifteen tables with seating for maybe 35. The food was french inspired and very good. I had a special and was very happy with the meal. I wasn't a fan of the local wines but they did have a nice but limited wine list. If i lived in the area I would... More

I think with restaurants like fat canary, Le yucca, opus 9, and Williamsburg inn cafe Provençal does not even come close to there food, elegance or service. Food was good, service was good, elegance did not make it.

Dining at Cafe Provencal was an unexpected delight. The chef did an exceptional job with the presentation and the atmosphere was a wonderful experience since we came here for the first time while visiting Williamsburg. Next time we plan on staying in one of the many rooms here at the vineyard and have dinner again. I would highly recommend this... More

Food was wonderful, ambiance great and service personal and caring. This place is a bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Everything was superb and made a wonderful date night on our anniversary. We will return in the future.

A group of us came here for a Wine and Dine dinner. Our previous such experience had been a few years ago and we were disappointed. However, there is a new chef since our last visit and he has obviously made a difference. We didn't try any appetizers because we had already had some at a friends' home before going... More

Everyone enjoyed their food. My halibut was disappointing because it was somewhat overcooked, but it did taste quite delicious. My cauliflower soup was excellent, as was the dessert. Our server was warm and friendly and did not hover too much. Dinner, with one glass of wine, was about $75 per person. I would definitely come back.
