Tasty Visit.

Great guide showed us around the very small brewery and we got to taste some truly delicious beer. We started with a small beer which we purchased and then on to the tour of the brewing area. We learned a lot about local breweries and a short history of beer in the US. we finished up with a tasting... read more

Would highly recommend a visit. Beers are true craft beers with tasting room bar and brewery store. Wide range of alcoholic content beers...3.7abv to 10+abv. Beer that is different in a very positive sense is the Royale Café Nitro Beer. Bourbon barrel based with coffee and chocolate overtones. Very smooth! Fights of beer available 4 ounces from $2 to $3.50.... More

This small brewery is fairly new and has a pretty extensive list of brews! Quite the variety for such a small place. The bar is combo shop / traditional bar. Nice place to sit and just relax. They have the option to try samples at a reasonable price, which is what I did. Just about all the ones I had... More

Took a group of visitors here, great explanation of the brewing process and fun tastings after. Good place for visitors and locals.

The tour was somewhat interesting. I only liked two out of the six beer tastings. The experience was just ok. If you go, be sure to find a coupon to get a $1.50 discount.

Stopped in out of curiosity, tried two historic style beers. Very nice! Bought a third in bottle to carry home. No idea if the menu includes food, but nice staff, good beer!

Went on the tour today and it was great! Quick, informative, not boring, and ended with a tasting of 6 different drafts. Right now 1 of them is the Pumpkin Ale, delicious!!! For $8 per person it's a fun and different way to pass some time in Williamsburg.

A great variety of beers and ales! We were pleasantly surprised by not only the choices available, but also by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who could give an accurate description of each one! We left knowing fully well we will return here....often.

We loved that Williamsburg had this fabulous brewery just waiting for us. We loved the tour that Alewerks provided, and even received a novelty glass that we used during our tasting. The experience would have been complete and perfect if there was a dining experience in the taproom. There was construction during the time of our tour, so perhaps in... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the ales at this place. Our tour guide was very informative. She gave a good history of beer making. About half the tour was given in the tasting room/gift shop area. It got a bit noisy at times. The remainder of the tour took place in the area where the ales are made. In both... More
