Stopped in out of curiosity, tried two historic style beers. Very nice! Bought a third in bottle to carry home. No idea if the menu includes food, but nice staff, good beer!

Went on the tour today and it was great! Quick, informative, not boring, and ended with a tasting of 6 different drafts. Right now 1 of them is the Pumpkin Ale, delicious!!! For $8 per person it's a fun and different way to pass some time in Williamsburg.

A great variety of beers and ales! We were pleasantly surprised by not only the choices available, but also by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who could give an accurate description of each one! We left knowing fully well we will return here....often.

We loved that Williamsburg had this fabulous brewery just waiting for us. We loved the tour that Alewerks provided, and even received a novelty glass that we used during our tasting. The experience would have been complete and perfect if there was a dining experience in the taproom. There was construction during the time of our tour, so perhaps in... More

I was pleasantly surprised by the ales at this place. Our tour guide was very informative. She gave a good history of beer making. About half the tour was given in the tasting room/gift shop area. It got a bit noisy at times. The remainder of the tour took place in the area where the ales are made. In both... More

We went to try the beer tastings. there was a charge, you get to keep the glass. The beers were a great variety. Very busy place. One side of the bar is for tasting and the other side is for customers, who know what they want and like.

Went here for the beer sampling. Had a great time hanging out with both locals and tourists at the bar. Went here two nights in a row. Would go back again when in town!

This is a brewery with an associated tasting room. They had many, many beers on tap - too many to taste and continue driving. :) We enjoyed all that we tried, and it was full before, during and after our tour, so recommend to get there ahead of scheduled tour times. We had a coupon for money off the tour... More

The fact that this is the # 24 restaurant in Williamsburg is funny because they actually don't have any food. That being said I really enjoyed the tour. Not an expansive tour but the guides work hard to make you laugh and learn, plus the tasting did not disappoint. I found myself trying to find flaws during the tasting but... More

Good beers (the Drake IPA and Washington Porter are the best of their standard) and you can't beat a $4 tasting. Not sure if they always have free pretzels, but I appreciated it. Recommend stopping by if you are looking for a change of pace while in Williamsburg, especially if the Mrs. wants to go to the outlets.
