For a small restaurant with few seats and tables, it has a great great sandwiches with freshness in it, i like it when they slice the shawarma spear straight to the sandwich,

The food at Shawafel was quite good. The interior was exceptionally clean but almost sterile, with a fast-food feel, and could use some ambience. They seem to cater mostly to take-out customers. Recommend real plates and silverware for dine-in customers to upgrade the ambience. The authentic Lebanese music on the sound system was a cultural bonus, and enhances the dining... More

The place is like a late night falafel/shawarma sandwich joint. Fantastic. It's not incredible, but it's definitely satisfying. A stumble home becomes much better after visiting this place along the way.

Certainly not the best Sharma and Falafel I have eaten in my life, but they sometimes have their doors open late and the food is great if you're stumbling home from one of the neighborhood bars.

I love this place - I can't emphasized this enough. The food is absolutely superb. I've had a few things on the menu so far and each is consistently delicious. The shawarma and falafel are a staple here and a must try. Prepared true to form and filled with delicious turnip pickles, greens, and tahini sauce,The tabouli the best in... More

Shawafel comes from... wait for it... shawarma and falafel, two mainstays of the middle eastern cuisine. I had the signature sandwich here a few nights ago and it was excellent. Well balanced, tasty and hits the spot perfectly. Highly recommended.

We've started ordering large platters of falafel and shwarma for casual family gatherings, when the alternative would be pizza or potluck. The food is excellent and delicious - I'm particularly fond of the pickles, fatoosh and a garlic cream sauce they send along with the chicken. It's a great option for groups like ours that include vegans, vegetarians and meat... More

Nice and warm place. Management very friendly. Fries with zaatar is a must try. Also their shish taouk is really good.
