Food was pretty good

We had not eaten at this Mexican Restaurant before and were invited by two other couples to join them. When we arrived, the other couples were seated at a booth (which made it a bit crowded) and there were bigger tables available but since we were the last ones there, we made do. I was advised... read more

I have been going to this restaurant on and off for 10 years. I went to pick up a take out order this week and it took them awhile to complete my order, but it was totally worth it. The food was amazing - worth the wait and so glad to see every table taken!

I was a little disappointed because I always order Diablo Camarones at every Mexican restaurant I go to. It was like they gave me shrimp that was dipped in Texas Pete. It seemed like an average run of the mill Mexican joint. The wait staff was nice...

My family and I enjoyed a GREAT meal here. The Guacamole and Cheese dip is a must for the tortilla chips. I enjoyed the Pollo Tapitio. Nice and spicy with the fresh Pico degalo. Antonio did a great job waiting on us even tough it was very busy.

had lunch there the other day with 2 friends. The young waiter was unable to answer many of our questions, and didn't offer to find out what we wanted to know. One friend ordered a chicken quesadilla, which was divided into quarters. Each of the 1st two he tried had sizable bones in them. My garden salad was a pathetic... More

Like any family-owned restaurant, on any day, do not expect consistency. The owner is very willing to listen to customers who offer positive solutions to issues. The food overall is pretty authentic, and I lived for years in Arizona. Their tacos are just wonderful, and their salsa is as well. Their guacamole is truly addicting. I cannot imagine going anywhere... More

When visiting daughter and grandkids would usually take them here for dinner one of the nights. Last time here, Service was reasonably fast and efficient. Margaritas were good but not great. Kids menu was limited but sufficient to satisfy all three (Quesadilas and chicken fingers get it done every time). Fajitas were light on beef, heavy on onions and peppers. Enchiladas... More

I've been going to El Agave for years and it is wonderful. We love their Mexican food and the staff is always friendly. They have an extensive menu and lunch specials. I love their margaritas and they serve plentiful chips and salsa as you wait for your meal. The fajitas are a favorite and the El Agave Special is a... More

We go to this restaurant over and over and are never disappointed! The staff is friendly and attentive, there is a family friendly vibe and we always run into friends. What's not to like? The food is really good and authentic Mexican. We love the queso and guacamole.

Late night dinner, just wanted something simple and a margarita and El Agave filled that order quite nicely. Many combo plates to choose from and I selected the one with an enchilada, burrito, and chile relleno. Delicious fillings and on the spicy side, which was fine. Service was attentive.
