The Mexican restaurants in our town have really taken a nose dive of late. I was working in Warrenton for the day and a buddy suggested El Agave for lunch. Blew me away. This is what I've been missing. The service is prompt and courteous and the food is consistently good. The portions are very fair and we never walk... More

My family & I have eaten at El Agave frequently and always receive a tasty meal. The service is fast & efficient. The limitless chips & salsa are a big hit! Good food at a very reasonable price.

We hadn't been here for awhile and honestly couldn't remember why not. Now we remember. The food is below average for a Mexican restaurant. The salsa has actually improved since the last time I was there but still not worth the trip unless all you are going to do is eat chips and salsa. Tippy's Taco is probably a better... More

There are so many better Mexican restaurants in the area. The service was slow and they were out of margaritas on-the-rocks, but they had frozen margaritas (huh??). I think they just didn't have a bartender. The food was mediocre and the fried ice cream was not fried ice cream but a scoop of vanilla on a fried tortilla (that is... More

It's been a while since I've been here, but I wasn't impressed. If what they call authentic Mexican food is ground beef with no seasoning on an Old El Paso shell, then I guess they are authentic. But to me authentic doesn't mean "no flavor."

I travel to Mexico at least once or twice a year, so I know how real Mexican food should taste. This is as close as I've come in the United States. The wait is minimal and the food is excellent. Not as excited about the wait staff; not much personality and most remind me of the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld,... More

We stopped here after the place we originally wanted to go was closed. This is a must try, our meal was very good.

A step closer to authentic Mexican cuisine than you'll find anywhere nearby. I enjoy the experience every time I go.

This was probably the worst meal my husband has ever had. The evening special came out of a can, with what seemed like a can of mushroom soup dumped on top. The beans and rice had no taste. The fajita was a tad bit better, but not by much. The sour cream didn't even taste like sour cream. The waitress... More

By far the best mexican restaurant I've ever been to. The dishes are authentic, very reasonably priced and portions are more than ample. This is really good food!
