THE diner to try

If you're eating at a diner, this is the one to try. Typical menu, good prices, and good comfort food.

Dirty, greasy, and just plain slop. I refuse to go inside. There are so many really nice restaurants in Warrenton that this would never be a good choice. Drive right on by would be my suggestion.

Best breakfast in Warrenton. I love the waffle or the biscuits and gravy. They have friendly service and fair prices. Only downsides are small space and being cash only.

Frost Diner has been a part of Warrenton for as long as I can remember. It remains a staple and is a great place to get breakfast or a late night bite to eat. Your standard diner food. The only negative is the environment. Everything is old and dingy. This place needs some serious renovations. Otherwise a economical place to... More

The setting was reminiscent of the way diners used to be, but it has not been kept up very well. I had the steak and eggs with home fries... the food was average, I have had better Diner-style food... but the real let down was the service... not friendly, in a very small space, they appeared to be avoiding me...... Frost diner has been around for many years and I try to stop there when I am in Warrenton. I was fortunate enough to eat there twice last week. The eggs, bacon, and toast breakfast was better then Waffle House or Cracker Barrel and the hamburger I got there was a great old fashioned hamburger, so much better than any... More

Stopped for a quick sandwich and coffee. Place was mostly empty. Sat at the counter and ordered a BLT and cup of coffee. The latter came and it was so weak I couldn't tell what it was supposed to be. The BLT came on the thinnest and lightest bread I've had in a long time. The sandwich was mostly lettuce... More

Good food - Good service - Cash only - Limited seating but worth the wait. Definitely a place to eat if you are in the area.

I've been here two times for breakfast, and both visits were great. My husband really liked their biscuits and gravy, and their pancakes are some of the best I've had in the area. Prices are very reasonable too. The interior isn't much to look at in my opinion, but it is really authentic if you're into that. Definitely worth checking... More
