My wife and I visit The Red Truck Bakery almost every Saturday morning to meet with friends over the communal table and revisit the weeks events and what is being planned in the future. The coffee is outstanding and the breakfast sweets are to die for.

My daughter did me a great favor, so I took her to Red Truck for lunch. We were both delighted with their renowned coffee and our sandwiches on outstanding bread. Hers was chicken salad, mine the beet loaf-goat cheese on a salty roll. On another occasion I got a spinach-feta pastry and a tomato-olive one for eating at home. Let... More

We have been enjoying Red Truck for several years--the creative, delicious sandwiches, rich soup, and the godly cookies. I like to get provisions there, then enjoy the beautiful nearby roads that can take you to Civil War sites and to Shenandoah. It is always a treat. Try the beet loaf and goat cheese sandwich. The sandwiches disappear early from the... More

I recently stopped in with a friend for morning coffee and a snack. The pastries and coffee are very good. I bought an apple croissant to bring home to my husband, which is enjoyed. I also had to buy him one of the little "Red Truck" cookies, just because they were so darn cute!

We've been hearing how great this place was and wanted to see for ourselves, so we stopped in this past weekend. They have a nice selection of baked goods. They have signs advising that their pumpkin pie was rated the best by Washingtonian Magazine. I would suspect they would offer a sample of it, but didn't see any readily available,... More

A quaint little bakery. Nice choice for small bakery. We got coffee cake and orange cranberry muffin, both were very good. Took a foccacia bread home. Will go back again.

Croissants must be their specialty. We stopped since our new Carpe Weekend book suggested this place on our way to Luray. Not disappointed. My fave was the strawberries and cream filled croissant! It took me back to my toaster strudel eating days but way waaaay better. Coffee was ok. I was really wanting some hot steamed milk to go w... More

I had an appointment in Warrenton and decided to stop and grab some lunch. The Red Truck Bakery & Market is located in Historic Old Town Warrenton. I got there at 1PM and there were only 3 sandwiches left but plenty of baked goods to choose from. You probably need to get there by noon or call an order in for... More

Stopped by during the late afternoon to have lunch. Lunch was not available-no sandwiches and no quiche left. She said she didn't want to cut another quiche. This is a cute location and cute 'brand' but seems to be 'all show and no go'. The case of baked goods is limited and the menu is sparse-they would do well if... More

Stopped in to see the bakery I had read about and was not disappointed. Wheat bread with golden raisins and walnuts makes incredible French toast. But the cinammon donut brought a smile with memories of Montgomery Donuts which is my gold standard. My wife said the focaccia is excellent.
