Stopped in after a long trip from Connecticut. .

Food was good. Service was not ..that great ..I think they need a manager checking tables and making sure patrons are getting their orders on a timely manner..maybe a bus boy to clear tables would help the wait staff..

This great little bistro in downtown old-town Warrenton has a a great selection of artisan pizzas that are cooked beautifully in their wood-fired brick oven. I had the Giovani and added pepperoni and sausage... wow, nothing but pure pizza enjoyment there... with an outdoor patio out back, an inside bistro on the main floor, and a comfy tavern/cave in the... This was very friendly, low key place with great local beer and delicious food. They had a number of vegetarian choices that were very good, too. The service was also very good.

This restaurant use to be very nice with good food. At dinner I ordered a Caesar salad. If you like warm wilted lettuce with packaged croutons and bottled dressing you may want to try it. It was terrible. The piasano pizza had a creamy garlic sauce that tasted like wall paper paste. The others in the party had complaints about... More

Stopped by here for a late lunch while in the area and asked the waitress fro a recommendation, she said Chicken Salad! It was very tasty, fresh and the portion was large. Other at my table ordered a hotdog - looked just okay - and they did not finish. Selection of local craft beers and pizza will have me return... More

Black Bear Bistro's menu is large enough to offer something for everyone. It has a large selection of pizzas (which can be made gluten free) and grill items as well as a varied selection of entrees. I would highly recommend the vegan chili, which was nicely spiced and really filling. The vegetable curry--a selection of super fresh green beans, mushrooms,... More

Food was delicious! Had the crab omelet. The server was in-experienced and seemed to forget something at every table he had. Great atmosphere.

We stopped in for dinner and were generally pleased. The atmosphere is attractive, definitely not a chain restaurant. We sat on the balcony, which overlooks a parking lot and trash cans, yet was surprisingly pleasant Our salads were excellent, abundant and fresh. We each had fish, which was OK but nothing special. Their craft beer selection is good, and I... More

This is the 3rd time my husband and I have eaten at The Black Bear. The food has always been delicious and the staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is so charming and NOT your typical chain restaurant...which is why we love coming here!! We drive in from Northern Virginia to get away from the loud, overcrowded restaurants here!! The sweet... More
