Great spot adn something different

Been here twice this summer and each time have tried a different set of tapas, all were great. Of course there are always a few things that can be improved food-wise, but nothing that would keep me from returning. I will have to say that the beer selection is pretty abysmal. All they really had on... read more

our daughter took us here because she knows we like Cuban sandwichs, yellow rice with a side of onions, black beans and a good mojito. our regular mojitos were large and as good as it gets and I am sure the others on the menu would be just as good. I talked with the waiter and bar tender and this... More

this place had us just by it's name. The selection of flavored mojitos was great. I had a classic mojito which was very good. The service was excellent with menu items described to us. The food was awesome.

I thought I'd had really good Cuban food a few weeks ago. Then I was in town for business and happened upon this little spot. I don't typically overeat - but I couldn't stop! The pork, the shredded beef, the yellow rice, the black beans, the plantains. Excellent. The staff was also super friendly. The menu is extensive and there... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this cute restaurant with plenty of atmosphere and a long list of tapas to try. We had the crab quesadilla with a whipped green dipping sauce (dill? yummy), the green beans with almonds (grilled, delicious), and a small plate of paella which is served as a pyramid of rice with seafood delights embedded in it. Everything was... More

Based on the lovely decor, the menu descriptions, and the price, we expected high quality food. Unfortunately, it was just ok. Had: calamari (great, never had it so juicy), chips and salsa (cheap taste, disappointing), and the meat sampler plate. With the main dish I was only impressed by the lechon and maduros. Also, their mojitos were good.

I have to say this place has been hit and miss in the past but lately more of a hit, I will go back. Service was on the poorer side before but over the past few weeks of visiting this Latin restaurant several times both on a busy Friday night and earlier in the day on a week day, I... More

I am an tapas fanatic. This place has an extremely wide variety, from seafood to manchego to croquettes. We have such a difficult decision when ordering tapas here, over 30 selections and we've never met one we didn't adore. The regular menu is also extensive and diverse. Their black bean soup is outstanding, as is The Cubano. I have never... More

I went there tonight and my overwhelming sentiment is just "meh." Kind of a waste of a Saturday evening. There are a few areas that were noteworthy: The owner, young lady from New York (with Columbian roots) takes a lot of pride in what she does. She actually sat us down and lit our candle. I commented on her "shimmering... More

We went on a Sunday night so it was slow so we had no wait. All the dishes we got were excellent. The waitress did miss one item we ordered but in the end it was good as the portions were large. The mojito my wife got was good. The beer selection was all bottles and limited, plus loss of... More
