Sushi with a smile! Great atmosphere aka "vibe", great food, and great service! When a Navy friend deployed to Africa recommended Soya on on upcoming trip to Va Beach, I had no doubts it'd be good -- but my visit was better than good, it was great! I'll be back...

I've been to probably every sushi restaurant in Virginia Beach and soya is the most consistent with quality. I definitely recommend it!

I have ate here several times and have found the food to be excellent. The service you receive is top notch. I visit the one at the Oceanfront when I go. Tony is a great sushi chef! Always find unique creations to choose from here. Be adventurous and try something new!

Great uni and they didn't scrimp! Very nice, briny quality. Good clams miso...A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for with sushi, so buy accordingly.

I love the selection and the prices are affordable especially for the North end of the beach. The staff were well informed and very helpful. I look forward to shopping there in the near future.

Lunch at Soya was incredible! Sashimi deluxe was served with plenty of variety and especially fresh! Be sure to start with some edamame!

Just happened by and decided to stop in for lunch. It was wonderful and more food than we could eat! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant was very nice and comfortable and the food was delicious! A must stop if you like Japanese and sashimi and sushi!

We ordered the "Monster Lunch Special" (available 11:30 to 6:00pm daily). The special is a great buy. Only $10 for miso soup, salad; fish, shrimp or scallops; and sorbet. The food was delicious and service was prompt and friendly. There is covered free parking in the garage adjacent to the restaurant; a real plus at the beach.

I was a little disappointed this time...the waitress wasn't too friendly, but the service was very quick & she kept us taken care of. The sushi was very good, but not as good as I had experienced before. The prices are reasonable & the atmosphere is nice. The bathrooms are clean & pretty. We'll go back.
