Went for a family dinner - two adults, four picky teens. Everyone found something they LOVED. Food was excellent and menu was authentically cuban. We had mojitos, empanadas, the most delicious PAELLA and then some. We were there early - around 5:30 and still had to wait an hour. We forgot real quick when we started eating. wow. From the... Four of us ate at this restaurant on September 3 for dinner. Food was great and the drinks were awesome. Great selection of beers and specialty drinks. Fish tacos were fantastic! Service was friendly and helpful in calling taxi for us to get to our concert venue. Best meal we had in Virginia Beach this week!

This place has been one of our favorites for years. Its a small restaurant nestled in between 28th street and pacific avenue. Authentic food, hard workers and great cooks. They make their own mojitos from scratch. This past year has been great success business wise for them so be sure to get there early because there will be a line!

The quality of the food balanced against the long wait due to popularity - we really enjoyed the meal. We waited over an hour - it seemed that tables ahead of us lingered and lingered. Maybe it was because the beer selection was really good (I had a great Brazilian beer), as were the mojitos. They have a nice porch... More

We lived across the street from the cafe, so it was a natural choice for us to have a meal there. We first came in early (5:30 pm) when only one table was occupied and asked to make a reservation for 6:30. They don't make any reservations. So, we came at 6:10 and the place was already full and people... More

I visited based on Trip Advisor reviews and was so disappointed. The tall blonde waitress was indifferent and her attitude was on the verge of rude. I asked for a drink with not too much I've and you'd think I'd asked her to walk to the moon, such was the inconvenience of not using as much ice in my drink.... More

My husband and I vacation in VA Beach nearly every year. We love Mojito - but have to gear ourselves up mentally. It's TINY - seven tables and a small counter for a bar. It's in a former tiny beach cottage. That said, they have an ample outdoor porch with seating for those who are willing to wait often an... More
