Virginia was the first stopover of a twelve day road trip as we meandered our way up the Atlantic Coast. We chose this place because it was very close and well recommended. We had a ball! 'Cuban' has come to mean different things in different places but here there was beer from South America and a Latin America-inspired menu. We're... More

Food here is wonderful and the drinks are pretty good. Only downside is that the outside sign is severely faded, making us drive by a couple times before spotting it. Also, the restroom was out of order, making it an uncomfortable experience after drinking mojitos.

We just had the best dinner of our trip to VA Beach. The beef empanadas, garden salad, shrimp in lime and garlic sauce, cubano sandwich, and mahi tacos were all superb. Yes the place is small, and you may have to wait a while to be seated, but it is worth it. The chef used fresh and flavorful ingredients and... More

I should say that it seems every time I get Cuban I end up less than ecstatic. This place was no exception. Super small. Average service. Mojitos were better than average. Food was better than average. Got the skirt steak and wife got the shrimp. We should have gotten the pork instead.

There are only two things I hate in this world; Christmas and the beach. My family drags me there every few years and I usually dread the entire trip. Until I found this gem. First, it was within walking distance of the Hilton, which was a bonus. Upon arrival I immediately ordered a mojito (which was fantastic). Two mojitos in... More

Tiny place about 3blocks from the ocean. I would eat here weekly if I could. Cuban sandwich was authentic, fish tacos excellent, and the mussels and clams app in garlic butter was over the top. Bartender / waiter ...Danny? (Short guy with an easy smile) was spot on. Waits are long so be prepared. Sit at the small bar if... More

Read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor. We arrived at about 6:00 and the place was full, except for 2 seats at their bar….a sign of a good restaurant. We tried a few of their mojitos…I had the regular one, and my husband had a spicy one… both were good. My husband had one of the specials, BBQ’d salmon which... More

Just the perfect atmosphere after a tough day at work OR the continuation of a long day at the beach. Please note: a fairly small dining area, but a very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

This place is very small and there is always a wait. It is most definitely worth the wait. The empanadas, especially the beef and olive ones are amazing. The cuban is another excellent choice. The mojitos are the best I have ever had. I can't believe what this little place can produce. Absolutely awesome.

The restaurant is small so if you go during normal restaurant "dinner" time there is a wait, its ok you want to wait, order an app and be patient it is worth it. I have never been disappointed here the staff is well trained and personable. If there is paella on the specials menu, get it it is amazing. The... More
