My husband and I stopped in based on a recommendation from one of the other shops in the area. We've driven past before and heard of the place but never tried it: man, were we missing out! The restaurant was packed on a weekday lunch, seemingly with regulars. We ordered the chicken nachos as an appetizer. They were delicious, a... More

As vegetarians visiting Virginia Beach, we weren't expecting to find too many options in a town where burgers and seafood reign. We were just looking for a place with a decent salad, but what we found was the first *great* dining experience we've had a long time. Homemade Hummus Appetizer was fantastic and enough for a lunch entree. Super Veggie... More

The name understates what is delivered. Simple food, well prepared in a comfortable atmosphere with good service. Straight forward menu but a nice varied selection. Ample portions at very reasonable prices. This place stays busy with locals for good reason. If you haven't been here add it to your list, five minutes from the Oceanfront.

We were looking for a place to get supper rather late one evening and decided to try the No Frill Grill. It was a great choice. The club sandwiches were some of the best we have had. The waitress recommended the French Onion Soup as "the best in Virginia Beach". I would agree! It was delicious! A very nice sized... More

After driving around we happened to stumble across this restaurant. I think that the name made it interesting. Wow, I am so glad that we stopped by and ate here. The food is very good and the wait staff is nice and pleasant. We have ate here now several times and haven't been disappointed. It is very consistent and has... More

We had dinner for five here and the menu took care of all of us. The food is good but not great. But it appeals to the masses as families with young kids, young couples, the elderly all find large portions and moderate prices. The service is very good and quick. However, the accoustics make conversation difficult. It is loud!... More

The No Frill Bar & Grill in Virginia Beach (in the Hilltop North shopping center) has good food in a laid back, diner atmosphere. Not fine dining (booths, old carpeting, etc.). But the food is good and hearty and plentiful (we always have leftovers!). We've gone for lunch several times and went yesterday (Saturday) at 2pm. I had a REALLY... More

Our waitress was great too. The price was good. I would definately recommend this place..It's not what it seems, it looks like a diner on the outside but... More

Super friendly staff and awesome food! My family and I went here on the recommendation of a friend that has been going to VA Beach for almost 30 years. It was definitely delicious and not very pricey. We will definitely go back the next time we visit the area.
