This place is kind of a dive, but fantastic, fresh seafood. This is definitely more of a locals place off the beaten path, which is what I prefer over the packed, touristy restaurants. It's not expensive and the service is friendly and fast. They have great nightly specials (Thursday night is a whole lobster for $15!) and delicious buttery hush... More

We travel to Virginia Beach regularly, and Nicks is one of our regular stops. Since the new traffic circle has been installed, the traffic pattern makes getting to Nicks harder than it used to be, and Nicks is off the main drag, so you have to want to go there, but it is well worth the trip. Seafood is always... More

We were down in VA Beach with our wrestling team and wanted to find an off the beaten path type place that had great food, and we couldn't have been happier. The flounder was excellent, the stuffed shrimp was great, and the lamb chops were fantastic. We were wearing baseball hats and sneakers and fit right in. The restaurant is... More

Asked hotel staff for a fresh seafood restaurant and he suggested this one as where the locals go. It's a dive, but charming. Ordered the seafood platter at very reasonable price. It was enough food for two. It was the best, fresh seafood we've eaten in years. The scallops, shrimp, oysters & fried flounder were absolutely delicious. We liked it... More

After hearing people rave on about the must try lobster special we tried it. Tough and very fishy. We tried! Once. On to find the next dive worth dining in. Sorry Nick.

Absolutely the finest fried oysters I've ever had and I've eaten a lot of oysters. Great prices and very good service too!

My roommate and I had just finished a 4 mile walk and wanted steak. We asked patrons of a cafe where to get a great steak and they highly suggested Nick's. Its a small "whole in the wall" that didnt dissapoint. The staff were very down to earth and friendly. The prices were phenonenal! I'm talking fresh scallops, large steamed... More

A dive but quaint, friendly service, great prices and great breakfast. Our go-to place for breakfast at the beach!
