Kevin Chang is the owner and head chef of Zushi Japanese Bistro. Kevin is a hard working soul. In fact you will probably see him every time you come to his restaurant. His work is fast paced, and there is never a time when he can be caught standing still, yet he always has time to greet and talk with his customers about his art. Delicious

No complaints what so ever. My friend and I ordered multiple things from the menu, from the appetizer to fried and regular sushi and it was all delicious. My friend has been here numerous times, where as it was my first time and I was not disappointed. The menu is extensive, with plenty of options.

Amazing food from the Salad to the Miso (usually you don't find a notable difference from place to place when it comes to Miso... It is definitely better here) to the beverages and Sushi everything here is crafted to contribute to an overall feeling of contentment and Zen. The service was first rate both visits and everything the service team... More

My family was on vacation at Virginia beach and we decided to have some Japanese. So by all the good review we have decided to eat here. When we walk in the server was an idiot with little people skills think that we are not capable of paying or something. So when she took the drinks she didn't even ask... More

visited early June 15' Felt adventurous, ordered chef special- 5 course meal, picked by chef. First 2 2 were generic. 3-4were amazing, 5th was desert. A lot of food. Totally reasonable for one person to order and the other share and just order a separate roll/entree

We had no trouble getting in here 8 pm on a Monday night. The service was terrific. The chef came out and spoke to us and we appreciated his attention and concern about the quality of our meal. The sushi was very fresh and the portions were generous. We would definitely go back.

My husband & I drove inland to try Zushi and it was worth every mile! The grilled octopus was delicious, as were the Blue Point oysters, tuna cocktail, and the few rolls we tried. We had only two compaints...they were out of a few items we were hoping to enjoy and the beef tataki was slightly overcooked. All in all,... More

First time visit with my son, sat at the sushi bar. Everything was fantastic! Service was attentive and on spot. Chefs were engaging, knowledgable and helpful. Prices were very reasonable for such a high quality product. In had a sushi/sashimi combo, my son had the nigiri dinner. All the selections were spot on and very fresh. I wouldn't. go anywhere... I never expected to experience such great, fresh and authentic sushi in VA Beach! I'm VERY picky when it comes to sushi, but Zushi Sushi is one of the best I've encountered. The "pink lady" roll was absolutely outstanding, and their green tea with roasted rice was also a nice discovery. Check this place out and come away pleasantly surprised... More

Came here for dinner with the boys, and it was delicious. Both the sushi and the cooked dishes were great. Beautifully prepared and fresh. One of our boys is particular and he ended up having an awesome dinner. Our waiter was very nice and the service was great. The only negative is the kitchen was a bit slow, but that... More

Stopped in for lunch, my second try at sushi. Kristine was my server and she was fantastic, offered great suggestions. So I had, the Mt. Trashmore, with the house salad, and green tea. Everything was amazing and everything is cooked to order nothing is pre-made or cooked. It was truly a great dining experience and would go back again. Very... More
