Great Breakfast, $2 Bloodys and Mimosas

In my top 2 breakfast spots at the beach. Dog Taylor's is located in a historic beach cottage a block off the beach. The service is great and the food arrives quickly, but expect a wait for your table, especially on the weekends. The $2 Bloody Marys and Mimosas are hard to beat and keep you... read more

We ate lunch at DOC Taylor's, on the late side of the lunch rush. Service was really good. I ordered the crab cake sanwich and my husband had their wings and onion rings. (That's all this man orders but he does know his wings!) Anyway...my sandwich was really good, actually. You can get chips, french fries or onion rings with... More

Although our hotel offered a continental breakfast we decided to venture out. This restaurant was just 2 blocks away and offered a full breakfast. The pecan sweet potato pancakes were awesome, and the coffee was excellent as was the service. What a great way to start the day.

My husband and I ate here for a late lunch. I had the BLT and he has a burger and fries. The food was very well priced and it was delicious! They were very busy, but we only waited a few minutes and then were seated. There were some other reviews complaining about the service: ALL of the staff was... More

Friendly, attentive service from start to finish, plenty of fresh coffee, super comfortable / homey ambiance without trashy or snobby affect, its own parking lot and, most importantly, a DELICIOUS breakfast. I had the western omlette and it was perfect. It included chorizo, done just right in small non-greasy crumbles. Get there early for breakfast because it gets crowded, although... More

Doc Taylors' brunch will take you 2 hours but the attached dive bar and it's $2 Bloody Marys and mimosas make the time fly by. The food is really good for the morning after a night of partying and is priced right!

Great place for really tasty breakfast or a good comfort food lunch. Walked to the restaurant from the Hilton. Looks like a place that has been there awhile - location looks like an old house-quaint and comfortable. Loved it!

Although Doc Taylor's is only open for breakfast and lunch, you can get excellent Eggs Benedict anytime- my favorite breakfast of theirs. It's a cute place where locals meet so much it's hard to get a table sometimes.

This little restaurant does everything well from the Mimosas and Bloody Marys to the atmosphere inside. It feels like a beach house. We have eaten here many times and never once had a bad meal. They do breakfast better than anything else at the beach. Hash bronws and crispy on the outside, soft inside. Bacon is cripsy. Eggs always perfectly... More
