Great experience, good food and reasonably priced!

Fantastic experience starting with the hostess and continued with the waitress. We enjoyed $3 watermelon mimosas. For breakfast we ordered the cheese grits with ham which was very tasty it came with eggs and toast. We also ordered a side of sweet potato pancakes with pecan which were excellent. A... read more

Was in town visiting my sister with my fiance and she recommend we try Doc's for a late breakfast after a late night out. Everything was great, the beach house setting was very charming. The food was great, I had a daily special omelet that was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed fresh watermelon mimosas and finally felt as though we... More

Waited about an hour for lunch. We had some drinks while we waited. I had a crab cake, and I would not recommend it to anyone. My wife had their specialty pancakes and liked them. Our daughter really liked her ham and cheese sandwich.

Small quaint restaurant with great food and service. Get there early as it's popular and can expect long lines, only downside.

Tried to get in here on a weekend and wait times were long, but persisted and went back on a Monday. So worth it, wait staff charming, restaurant is in an old house so limited seating. Food was great, super affordable and with a full bar so if you want a Bloody or Mimosa (or I suppose anything else) with... More

We were going to get breakfast at a different restaurant but they closed due to repairs and one of the workers told us about it....we go there every year while at the beach, inexpensive and home cooking.

This place has great reviews so we went there. Nothing special about the lunch other than the 'She Soup', which was very good...

DOC Taylor's Restaurant is a lovely place to have breakfast when visiting Virginia Beach. Not having a sign out front, this place stays hidden from most tourists. Overflow building for those 21 year olds, drinking Mimosas and Bloody Mary's at 9am. Recommend!!!

Once we discovered Doc Taylors for breakfast we were there every morning. Best to get there when they first open at 7 and no later than 9 because the wait gets long. Varying menu has something for everyone for Breakfast. Reasonably priced so great for families.
