After a complementary breakfast at our hotel, we decided our party of 4 needed a Bloody Mary. After looking online, we discovered Doc Taylor's advertising $1.99 Bloody Mary's and Mimosa's. It was a bit hard to find since there was no sign outside but once in it did not disappoint. The drinks were as advertised and very tasty with just... More

Although I was semi-disappointed with the quality of the food, the atmosphere and drink prices for Sunday brunch was worth it! Good times with good friends made the average food worth the 4 or 5 hours we spent down there. I'd definitely go again!

Doc Taylor's is open all year round, just a block off of the oceanfront. It was snow old home, converted into a restaurant so there are several rooms to eat in plus a bar. They have a variety of items on their menu from eggs, omelets , breakfast sandwiches to pancakes. They are known for their Bloody Mary's - since... More

Great breakfast but be prepared to wait especially in high season. Casual beach like feel most probably because it's located in an old house.

I love everything I have had at Doc Taylor's and so have all the people that have gone there with me...including the best Bloody Mary I have ever had anywhere in the country! When we have out of town guests I don't hesitate to bring them here as it has a wonderful laid back beach atmosphere with incredible and reliable... More

The menu looks daunting - so many fabulous choices. Breakfast and lunch served til their afternoon closing. Never have we been disappointed. Almost always a weekend wait, but well worth it and enjoy a mimosa while you wait!! If I have a criticism, and I really don't, it is loud. I recently ate on the side of the restaurant with... More

We are foodies from New York. We visited Virginia Beach and Doc Taylor's got great reviews, they were right. We started our breakfast with She Crab soup, first time I had soup for breakfast. Two of us had the special omelet- crabmeat, asparagus, american cheese and hollandaise sauce. It was the best omelet we have ever had. Kids had pancakes,... More

Twelve of us had breakfast here on Presidents Day. Very warm staff. The owner came to our tables to be sure everything was good. The wait staff were attentive and perky. Food was fresh and yummy! There is no sign outside - not sure if this is just in winter. Also, the wait for lunch on Saturday was 90 minutes.... More
