Vacationing in VA beach for past 4 years would not be complete without breakfast and lunch at Doc Taylor's. Mimosas at $2.50 a glass makes the wait worthwhile!!! Breakfast is inexpensive...from $2.50 ( 2eggs, bacon, toast) upwards. Lunch is reasonable priced as well. Doesn't bother that there is a take out fee for the bio degradable container. Well worth the... More

You have to stop here for breakfast on your trip to Va Beach. We had breakfast supplied by our hotel, but we still need to stop by before heading home. Eggs Benedict are awesome!! Don't do your self wrong, stop by and experience Doc's!! You will not regret! No lines, and the small diner/ B&B atmosphere you crave!

We went for a brunch. The children each got a stack of 3 chocolate chip pancakes. They were chock full of chips. I ordered a plain bagel with two cream cheeses and lettuce, tomato and lox. My husband ordered eggs Benedict (they seemed popular) my husband commented on how good they were. Our brunch was fantastic and worth the wait.

I really liked this place. The food was delicious and cooked properly. It's an old doctors office, so the layout is house like. I will eat all my breakfasts here when I'm in VB!! Good show.

We wanted to go to a seafood restaurant for lunch, we found Tautogs (separate review) which turned out the restaurant was open only for dinner. Naturally, we decided to go to the restaurant next door as we were hungry. Turned out this was a great find! Two in the group had Ray Ray's scrambled eggs served with pancit - Filipino-style... More

As out of towners, we were looking for a place that had really good breakfast. After looking up reviews for this place, we decided to try it. We walked in and were greeted by a very friendly hostess. We were sat right away. My boyfriend ordered french toast and I ordered the flatliner. We also ordered mimosas which were yummy!... More

We got a recommendation for the restaurant from some folks at the Coast Guard museum. The location is great, and they have parking behind the restaurant. It was a little loud... The food was great, and they serve breakfast all day! It's a must vist!

Everyone I send to Doc Taylor's comes back to tell me how much they love it. Great way to start the day and a good lunch spot too. They also have some very affordable breakfast options. If you had one too many the night before they have your hair of the dog on hand with Bloody Marys and mimosas.

Perfect late morning breakfast/brunch. Morning happy hour mimosas and bloody Mary's are good and cheap. A favorite place to take visitors close to the beach front. Great offerings, good humoresque names. Always have gone with 4 to 6 and been seated during the week quickly. I stay away during tourist season but recommend if you are staying, you try it... More
