Mr Smith

One of my favorite breakfast spots when I stay at VSA Resorts. Best breakfast and bloody Mary around.

What a dump... First time and last time. Do not waste your money, or abuse your taste buds. Not sure the style of their cooking method but the food looks like it was cooked on the kitchen floor... Does not matter what you order it all taste the same.. The food is obviously all cooked together resulting in a complete... More

YUM!!!!!!! Great atmosphere. Great service. Quaint location with alot of character. Long wait? No problem. Grab a mimosa or other cold beverage next door and take a pager.

Here's the thing. I went on a Sunday. It was definitely a brunch drinking day. Place was pretty busy but not full. Sat at the bar. Got the catfish po boy. Service was great. Food took over 40 min to get and didn't come with the house tarter sauce that was listed on the menu. Had to ask for a... More

If it wasn't for the Front Desk girl at our resort, who recommended this breakfast place, we probably would not have found it. I love how great This place was during our visit . We stayed at the ocean sands resort across the street . It was Very convenient because we were able to walk to the restaurant. Me and... More

This place has great food and great ambiance. It gets super busy but you can hang out next door at Seaside with a mimosa or bloody mary while you are waiting on a table. Banana or granola pancakes are a must. I will say that you should stick with breakfast food. Their lunch food leaves something to be desired, the... More

While visiting VA Beach, we heard about this place for breakfast. Unfortunately for the other establishments we weren't able to try them out because we were hooked from the first cup of coffee @ Doc Taylor's. We had breakfast here everyday while in VA Beach! If there was a wait - try the bar as a first come first serve.... More

We had lunch at Doc Taylor's and it was just okay. My girlfriend had the cranberry turkey sandwich and I had the she crab soup and Greek salad. The turkey sandwich was good with what looked like regular turkey and not lunch meat. The she crab soup was good but my Greek salad was very small for the $8.95 price.... More

We went for brunch. Building is quaint but could use some 'sprucing up'. Mimosas good. Staff pretty responsive but it was not an experience that would make this a repetitive destination.

My favorite spot for a terrific and reasonable breakfast! Summer months are impossible to do but off season is great!
