Wonderful service, great breakfast

Came here on a sunny Monday morning with an out of town guest. Sat on the patio and had Heidi as our server. She was fabulous. We had scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and biscuits- all cooked perfectly. We ended up lingering over coffee and tea before walking the boardwalk and Heidi graciously... read more

We came here on a referral from the concierge at our hotel. We got there on a Saturday around 10:15 and there were four in our party so there was an hour wait, usually that is a turn off for me but since they have a bar next door, it wasn't bad. The bartender next door was great and the... More

The Ray Ray breakfast sandwich was exquisite! Loved the roasted red potatoes with onions that came with the sandwich. We will be back. This is now my favorite breakfast restaurant in Virginia Beach, and I have been to approximately 20 of them over the past 13 years.

After looking at the reviews, decided to stop by for breakfast. Bar is great while waiting for a table. Food was great and waiter made sure everything was good. Will be back!

We don't go to Virginia Beach that often, but when we do, we will stop for breakfast or lunch here and for dinner at its sister restaurant next door. I love the decor and setting in an old physician's house. The food is more home style, and delicious. Can be very busy at times, with a wait. But truly worth... More

My wife and I stopped here on the way back to our rental after a trip to the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge. We enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant is in an old converted house and it has a bit of funk and charm. We greatly prefer that to sterile chain places! Its relatively small, perhaps 50 seats. Our... More

I've been to this place several times. I had great time, enjoyed good breakfast early morning. I loved the style of this restaurant, it's very intimate and cosy. Sometime you will have to wait to get it sometime you don't depending on what day and time you go. You can get a fresh mimoca. Limited parking space. Last time i... More

We are frequently traveling through Virginia Beach, to other cities in the South or to visit relatives in the military in the area. No trip is complete without a breakfast or 2 or 3 at Doc Taylor's, known locally as Doc T's. I've never been there for other meals but breakfast is amazing. I'd suggest getting there as it opens...
