Our hotel concierge recommended Doc Taylor's; I doubt we would've found it otherwise. Hiding in a plain looking house, this a solid breakfast place that is very accommodating to special requests. The biscuits were light, fluffy and delicious. The eggs were eggs. Would have been nice to have some sriracha sauce with them. Expect to wait on weekends and holidays.

Went for breakfast. Crowded but not a long wait. Food was above average. Many people were at the bar during breakfast. That was kind of a surprise.

Delicious!! Fresh and not overly greasy like some breakfast joints. Great service and atmosphere...highly recommended. I was very happy that they will make your breakfast using organic eggs. Now if only the rest of the food was organic...

This is not the first trip we have been on to VA beach that we have eaten at this cute place! Previously we had been here with family and all had a variety of delicious food then. We were happy to return and again have a great meal and wonderful service. The wait staff were very helpful and friendly. We like... More

This must be a great local haunt, it was busy the entire time we went there. They have mimosas and bloody marys on their breakfast menu.

Great food and great service. Tables are a bit small but so is the place. Really friendly staff and did I mention the food was great!? ;-) I made my recommendation to add a dish... (trust me on this) Order the Ray-Ray (but with any cheese but what tasted like a Velvetta cheddar slice they served it wth) AND order... More

My recent – and first – visit to Doc Taylor’s was a welcomed treat, a return to the Virginia Beach of old. My work colleagues and I enjoyed lunch on a balmy Tuesday afternoon, at a sunlit table in the front room as the breeze blew through, and what a wonderful experience! Service was very attentive – our waitress was... More

How have I not been here before today. Quaint restaurant in an older two store beach home. Large mostly local clientele for breakfast Bloody Mary's while waiting, outside in the warm sunshine. Had traditional eggs Benedict. Excellent as was the service. Gotta go back again.

Hip place loaded with young people. I had the chilled poached salmon on a salad and you can't beat it for price and taste. The cucumber dill dressing was excellent and at $8.95, the salad was a steal. Our server was informative. All in all a laid back place where you can relax and have a good meal.
