Dinner & a show

We used to go to Wasabi at Janaf til it closed down. We decided to go here and it was worth the price. I got the scallops and fillet mignon both were great. Not to mention the chef was entertaining us during the entire meal. We will be back.

We visited here last week with friends and were really pleased with the experience and wish we hadn't waited so long to check it out! The guy who cooked our food for us was really friendly, and a good laugh, and the food was amazing! We ordered starters but didn't really need to as you get a generous amount of... More

I usually only go to 1 Japanese steakhouse but since they've closed I've been trying to find another one. This is the only Japanese steakhouse that came close to reminding me of my old time favorite. Always go here with my boyfriend, we love the food (which we tend to modify our order and it's never a problem) the staff... More

I called in a take out order from Shogun while vacationing in Virginia Beach. The reviews for the restaurant were good, so my wife and I took a chance. I did look at several other Japanese restaurants in the area, but I settled on this one due to the great ratings. The take out order took 45 to have ready.... More

Better-than-Good Japanese faire! Reservations highly recommended. We were there on Sat night, and had a reservation. People were waiting to eat when we left. We had a personable, great chef. Other tables we observed had some not-so-engaged chefs at their tables. Food above average, and the steaks were very tender, and the shrimp large. Felt rushed after the meal, however.... More

When looking for an amazing hibachi restaurant, look no farther. The food was spectacular. Our chef was the head chef and his service was excellent. Our waitress was phenomenal sheafs chop sticks for the kids and the price was fair but the overall experience was fantastic! Best hibachi food we have eaten.

Wow, what a great experience for my children. This was their first time to a Hibachi restaurant and let me tell you they were thrilled. We went for a friends birthday and everyone in the group had a great time. The waiter made the experience all the better! He was awesome and kept everyone laughing. The food was excellent every... Had dinner here when we were here over Memorial Day weekend. It was great!! Food was delicious, service was excellent, and the chef show was fun. Not the most talented chef we'd ever had but very good. WE definitely recommend!
