We first visited 18 years ago. Under the same ownership, still good food, a bit noisy but would recommend. We had a scallop caprese appetizer which was very good.

My favorite italian restaurant at the Beach! Great food, always crowded, always delicious! Went for New Years and was just as amazing as any other night. Staff are nice and happy. Stuffed Eggplant is great even as leftovers. Parking can be hard to find but you're at the beach and its in a nice neighborhood.

We have planned on visiting here with friends and finally made it. With early reservations--a must especially on weekends, we got a four top. The restaurant quickly filled to the brim. Be prepared for noise and I mean noise so loud, it was hard to hear dining companions across the table. Tables are quite close together and too small for... More

We had the pleasure of eating at Zia Marie's this past weekend and it exceeded my expectations. First, I would recommend making a reservation b/c it is always crowded--that's how good it is. We had a party of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) and let me start with the only 2 negatives there are: 1. It's loud. Due to... More

We have been going to Zia Marie for over four years after moving to the area and finding this gem. The food is delicious and the service is always fabulous. We love Friday nights, relaxing at the bar with a glass of wine after a long week of work. A true locals kind of place, try it and you will... More

Consistent and great tasting Italian cuisine in Virginia Beach. My favorites are the Chicken Piccata, Chicken Marsala, and Stuffed Eggplant. I am hopelessly addicted to the Chicken Piccata...which has an amazing lemon zing to it...juicy and full of flavor! The servers are friendly and attentive. Additionally, this restaurant has excellent wine selections...especially the Pinot Noir wines! I look forward to... More

We have been a frequent diner for 16 years now and never a bad dish served. A small restaurant so call for reservations is highly recommended regardless of season. During summer or any time avtually you can take a stroll along the bay while waiting or after dinner. Not a bad meal on the menu but always check the nightly... More

I have been going here for 14 years. I have gone to all the competitors....this place by far has the best food and best prices. I am even known among my friends as the pickiest eater....manninos sauces are not as flavorful. Il Giardino is loud and the veal saltimbocca is the worst I've ever had. Zia's is a hidden gem... Zia Marie is GREAT little Italian restaurant in the Chick's Beach neighborhood. The food is good - and authentic. The biggest downside is the level of noise. We were there on Saturday night - and there was so much noise, we could not have a decent conversation sitting right across form one another. So if you want great food -... More
