Hidden gem in Chick's Beach. Cozy, the whole menu is written on a chalk board. It's easily the best veal I've had in this city. If you're out of town come check this out. You can go for a nice walk on the beach after filling up on a great meal.

My wife and I lived in New Jersey for a long time and have been looking for a good italian restaurant since we moved to the Virginai Beach area. We found it yesterday. The food here is excellent. The pasta sauce is a little spicey and not sweet like many local italian restaurants in this area. The caprese salad was... More

Yes, the food is fantastic! But, I think that's because it's made by hand every day by local Chix beach folks. You should definitely try anything on the menu, you can be sure it's going to be totally wonderful. I was married to an Italian, and learned to cook authentic Italian pastas and sauces. These are definitely all taste wonderful.... More

Location is nice in a very cute residential area. Parking on the spot. Food was awesome, wines as well. Lasagna was the best in town, fish and salads, even desserts. The only problem was the air conditioning: really bad. To cold and too windy. The regular clients, educated customers were wearing jackets or hoods to protect... not normal...

Great locals Italian restaurant. Noisy but can be expected in small restaurant that was very busy. Waitress did good job explaining menu and service was excellent . The Chicken Parrmesan and Stuffed Eggplant were wonderful. Will definitely make it one of my regular restaurants when we come to the beach.

First time at Zia Marie's, but not the last! We came here for a change of pace. Looked had looked at the reviews and decided on the goat cheese and roasted garlic appetizer - Do It! Ordered off the special menu and the chalk board. One stuffed egg plant ( oh my!), one clams and linguini (such fresh pasta!) and... More

My family and I went to Virginia beach for the Shamrock half marathon and decided to look for an italian restaurant for a nice pasta dinner. We were glad we picked Zia Marie because we had a wonderful experience not only with the meal but also with atmosphere and service. The portobello mushroom appetizer knocked our socks off and the... Ate here at opening on a Saturday evening as part of a party of 14. Our waitress was a little brusque, but she did a marvelous job of handing the entire table without missing a beat. I had spaghetti and sausages. Great sauce! Spaghetti was al dente, and the sausages succulent. The serving size was generous...I couldn't eat dessert. A... More

I let our waitress know and it was taken off our check! I had the NY Strip... More

Returned once again to our favorite Italian restaurant in town. As always the service by Tori is great and food was outstanding. The Stuffed Eggplant is always a gem and the Caesar Salad is the best around. The Mahi special should go on the regular menu. We came for a birthday celebration. A night at Zia Marie's is always a...
