My wife and I visited the Melting Pot in Virginia Beach for our anniversary dinner. We had not been back for several years and nothing has changed; it is still excellent. The full meal takes about two hours. We have also just dropped in for dessert, in my opinion, the best part. We enjoy the cheddar and beer fondue served... More

I went here with my fiancé several months ago and had a great time. The atmosphere is very relaxing and even romantic. Our server was pleasant, helpful, and friendly. The food was SUPERB. After dinner my date and I made quick plans to return, this time with friends.

We usually go to the Melting Pot in VB at least once a year on our visit to VB. The service has always been excellent and the food very interesting. It's an entirely different way of eating at a restaurant. You cook the food yourself in the fondue pot on the table. The menus seem a little confusing but the... More

My wife, another couple, and I go to a Melting Pot in any city we travel to for the most part. We love the food there and the time spent eating and drinking and laughing is great. This was our second visit to this location having been there a couple years ago while on vacation in Virginia Beach. We had... More

DOES NOT HONOR PROMOTION!!! ACCEPTS THE PROMOTION DURING RESERVATION BUT NOT CHECK-OUT! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT TO GET YOU IN THE DOOR. I followed the direction on the promotion - correct date - called and made reservation and mentioned promotion - come time to check out - GUESS WHAT? They said they had used all the promotions for that night already...sorry. I... More

The atmosphere is amazing. Intimate and comfortable, yet also good for families. The menu is a bit confusing, but the servers are great at breaking it down for you. Definitely worth a visit.

We were invited to MP for a birthday celebration. The fondues for the savory meal were very good. The fondues for dessert were unique, although a bit too sweet for me, I'm sure others would enjoy for a special treat. The atmosphere is nice, and I love the way the restaurant was partitioned allowing for more privacy. The food was... More

I'm a fan of The Melting Pot, in general, as per my previous review. Dinner the other night is the exception. I was there for a 4-course dinner as part of a party of 10 people. We were there 3 1/2 hours, and it wasn't because the place was busy. It was Monday night...empty. We had four pots going at... More

I must say that we had high expectations for our anniversary .dinner, and The Melting Pot, Virginia Beach exceeded on every level! We had a very private booth for two and felt like we were the only people in the restaurant, despite arriving behind a large family party with children. The music was classy and played at the perfect volume... More

My husband brought me here for our 24 wedding anniversary. When we entered, we were greated right away. We were then seated in a nice little area all by ourselves, which we felt was very romantic. We were unable to see any other guest as there was only one other table in the area and no one was sitting at... More
