After reading some of the previous negative reviews, we were pleasantly surprised. We went for lunch around 2:30pm and we were quickly seated. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke and Crab Dip as an appetizer which came quickly to our table and tasted deliciously. I had the Caribbean jerk chicken which was a huge portion, with two pieces of chicken and... More

Trying a new place for me in VB. Had the crab dip, it wasn't memorable, but I had the grilled mahi which was very good. My friend had the salmon which was very good according to her. Service was a little slow but the waiter, William was personable . I would go again to try some other fish selections.

Teenage daughter and I went there for dinner last night and were seated promptly. We had the side portion of lobster mac and cheese, calamari and maryland crabcake. Mac and cheese was rich and full of flavor. I would estimate 3 or 4 pieces of lobster were in the dish. The menu said the Maryland Crabcake was made with a... More

This was our second year in Virginia Beach. Last year, we at at RockFish, service was slow but we had a few days and since it was a group of 8, we talked a lot. This year, same group, and after our drink order was taken, an hour later we inquired about the status of our meal. Our waitress said... More

Had a yellow submarine meal (overfried fish fillet in a bun) with a tasteless coleslaw on the side. My wife had a good salmon perfectly cooked with a spicy mango topping. Overall ok, good service except for its speed.

Rockfish was next door to our hotel and easy to walk to on a night when we didn't feel like driving around Virginia Beach. With our large party of 14, we were quickly seated, a feat that is sometimes a challenge at other restaurants. Our waitress was patient and pleasant, keeping up with our orders and refilling drinks. We ordered... More

Had dinner here one night while visiting the beach. Service and atmosphere were good. Food was average and very pricey. Had better fries at McDonalds on the trip down. Will try other places on my next visit.

Staff was great food was really good. Hush puppies are unhealthy, but oh my delicious. crab cake sandwich is highly recommended- try it blackened. Did not like the crispin pacific pear cider beer. Theme is appreciated the more you look around.. Yellow submarine and huge guitar stem on ceiling.
