Really bad buffet food. Nothing king worthy on it. Way too expensive considering all the seafood on it is of the low quality. If u do choose to eat there, order only from the menu. Trust me.

We enjoyed this restaurant and ate most everything that was offered on the buffet. It cost a little under $30/pp. They had crab legs that were pretty good. They also had clams, fish (baked, fried and stuffed), crayfish, fried oysters and some other meats. The soups included clam and seafood bisque (made with shrimp and muscles but tasted like it... I ordered a baked seafood platter and it was absolutely terrible. It had a taste of chemicals. I told the waiter but he did not apologize or agree to take anything off of my bill. So I paid 30.00 for food that I could not eat. Very disappointed.

Do NOT dine at "The King of the Sea" buffet (27th street and Atlantic Ave, Virginia Beach). Food is disgusting, not fresh. Soup tastes like canned soup. Bread is cold and not fresh. Shrimp garbanzo peas on salad bar were spoiled, and management does NOT care about you. After bringing it up to the manager's attention, all he had to... More

This has got to be one of the worst restaurants on the strip (and there are many). Rude waitstaff. Patrons seem to be beneath them and it appeared that they were doing us a favor by letting us dine there. Food was lukewarm and rubbery. Soup tasted burnt. Spend your $30/plate elsewhere. Wish we had listened to the hotel staff... More

For all you can eat seafood, you can do alot better. The dinner plates seemed to be much better than the buffet but it was a long wait to get them to the table. I had the crab legs from the buffet and some of them were pretty good but some were very overcooked and stuck to the inside of... More

We arrived at our hotel and were undecided about where to have dinner our first night. We looked at the book in our room and scanned some menus'. King of the Sea caught my eye because they had fried clams. You can get steamed clams everywhere it seems but fried are a little harder to come by. King of the... More

The all you can eat crablegs were great according to my daughter and her fiance...and the steak was also good. I just had the flounder which was good also.
