We arrived early and didn't have to wait long to be seated. It's a little pricey at $31 for the buffet but the selection and quality are well worth the price. Our waitresses were personable and attentive. I'll definitely go back!!
I have been hungry for a good seafood buffet for months and so my husband and I decided to spend our 35th wedding anniversary in Virginia Beach so we could have our anniversary dinner at Captain George's. It had been many years since we ate there and were very pleased. The food quality was excellent and the service was very...

Variety of quality seafood and price makes this a reoccuring place to eat. Service is always excellant and the selections are excellant.
This place was chosen by others, so we went along. Discovered it was $31 a person and $15 for kids. We sat on the sports bar side so my husband & daughter could eat off their menu which was reasonable(burgers & tenders) and I had the buffet because i love crab legs. I had my share and ate well over...

We went to this restaurant not knowing it was a buffet and not knowing it would cost a hundred forty dollars for four people. I had tons of skinny crab legs, some of which were pretty dry inside so wait for them to out out the fresh ones. There were delicious fried choices (shrimp, scallops), some seafood casserole thing that...

In Virginia Beach you are going to pay a big price for seafood unless you get away from the beach, but for the best fresh seafood go here to Captain George's Seafood. $31.00 per adult but the selection is great and I think I ate my weight in crab legs. The only reason I didn't rate this place excellent was...

We went to Captain George's once and the food and service was great. The night there was extremely busy since it was during the summer, but that's kind of a gimme. All the servers were extremely busy and the food I actually think was more of quantity over quality, even though it was better than at most all you can...

extremely attentive staff.. we went on Thursday. prime rib was to die for. maybe about 70 choices to choose from, I am used to triple that amount. About $30 per person; food was very good...clams, snow crab, crabs, shrimp prime rib, spare ribs, 3 types of fresh fish, salads, crab imperial...nice sized crabs and crab legs.
We went with our wrestling team in town for a tournament. It was great for a large crowd. The variety was great for land or sea lovers and the desserts were great! The quality of food was good for being a buffet. Not the quality of a good sit down restaurant but as buffets go...this is very good.
