Great Seafood

Great restaurant and food. The buffet is always kept rotated and hot. The wait staff were excellent and attentive. I would eat here again without a doubt. A little pricy but is cheaper if you eat before 4:00. The crab legs are extra>

We heard lots of good things about Captain George's, so we had to try it. I would probably go elsewhere next time, since there are many good seafood restaurants in Virginia Beach. This is a buffet, and it is a big one. There is lots to choose from, and they do have crab legs. But, everything was just pretty average... More

1st time here so have to do 4 instead of 5. Four of us went and all were impressed. Great selection, attentive staff, all food high quality and yummy! Only wish is that they would have had broiled scallops and not just breaded and fried. Would go again, absolutely! Price was about $30 plus drinks for Buffett for adults and... More

If you are hungry and you want a lot of food choice, this is the place to visit. The decor is beautiful and the rooms have plenty of seating. The food seemed more mediocre than I remember from a past visit but you can't beat the price and selection if you want more than 2 plates of seafood.

I don't usually go to buffet restaurants, because I can't eat that much at one sitting. But nowhere else can you get the variety and quality of seafood that you can at Captain George's. One dish is better than the next and it seems never ending!!

I remember this place from my childhood and what I remember has seriously gone downhill. If you want crab legs only then this is the place but otherwise not a huge selection for the price and dessert was just meh.

We had heard that this place was amazing. Our experience differed from that. If you want to be able to just stuff yourself sick, then this is for you. If you would like quality seafood, then it's not for you. It was $32.00 per person, so finding a much better seafood house which compares in price is really fairly easy.... More

Ate at George's several times over the past 6 years Food selection remains tops. From fish to prime rib the selection can't be beat for a buffet. Staff are friendly and observant of your needs. Quality of food after all these years has remained consistent and is top rated

The food at this location was just as good as at the Myrtle Beach and Williamsburg location. However the Wiliamsburg location appeared to have a much larger variety.
