Huge selection of seafood!!!

Visiting Virginia Beach and craved good seafood. Our hotel recommended this place. While walking in the buffet there was door boys to open the doors for us. Everyone also greeted us. We have eaten at many of the Captain George's locations, this one included and never had a bad meal. This was our splurge for this trip and needless to say it was money down the drain. Most of the food was lukewarm, the crab legs(the reason I wanted to go) were below par. Not good at all. As a matter... More

Snow crabs and shrimp were good besides occasional mushy shrimp, but the mussels were cooked perfectly and were delicious! The Tropical Mahi Mahi was very tasty too. I can't eat gluten, and am limited to my choices, but a kitchen mgr walked me down the buffet telling me what was safe and offered to bring anything to me directly from... More

Excellent quality, fair prices, and they treat us like royalty! We bring a large group of our local friends and they give us the private Captain's Quarters room. Love this place..crab legs are the best..and oysters...yum!

While we love the Capt. Georges buffet at the OBX, this one was no worth the $. Mostly fried food with the exception of crab legs and clams. I don't think all of the seafood was actual seafood, but artificial? Actually Golden Corral has a much better salad bar. For the price we paid, I expected a quality buffet. Not... More

I visited a Captain George buffet many years ago and recall they were better. I was by myself and the hostess took great pains to seat me in the most remote area of the restaurant even though the restaurant was not that crowded. The fried oysters were soggy and the other oyster offerings were pretty awful. The scallops were really... More

The food was tasty and there was plenty of it. The service was excellent. We arrived and were seated immediately. By the time we left, there was a long line waiting to be seated. It is so crowded and loud, it is difficult to move around and there is no way that you can have a conversation. The cajun crab... More

Came in for dinner with the family, as always it's delicious. Anytime we are in Virginia Beach or Williamsburg we stop at one of their locations. For 32.95 for adults 16.95for children it's an all out seafood extravaganza. The Iargest selection of seafood anywhere plus all you can eat Alaskan King crab's. Very succulent and sweet- great atmosphere and great... More

I don't understand some previous comments stating that this was expensive. When is the last time they dined at a seafood restaurant other than Red Lobster. For the quality of food that you get, it is well worth it. You would pay almost the cost of this meal for just one plate of a seafood platter. Here, you get multiple... More

We visited for Valentine's Day and actually took the children. It actually worked in our favor since the line was wrapped around the building. Parties with 5+ actually got in sooner!!!! The buffet remained stocked, the waiters attentive and the seafood fresh! Loove this place
