We just ate at this restaurant while we were on vacation to VA Beach. The restaurant is huge and can seat a lot of people. We did not have to wait. The food was very good, fresh and hot. A wide variety of seafood. The servers were very friendly. The price was a bit high in my opinion especially for... More

I don't care what time of the year you stop in, you're going to be treated to a great experience. With a seating capacity somewhere around 700, Captain George's can cater to locals and that tourists that include this place in their pilgrimage to the "Beach". Multiple buffet bars host salads, soups, appetizers, entrees and desserts...and there is more than... More

After experiencing a bad restaurant our first night, we really wanted somewhere good to eat. We picked this restaurant and boy was it great. The waiter was very kind and always kept a]our drinks full. It was well worth the price and the crab legs were fantastic. We really had a great time and recommend it because it is all... More

We've eaten at all the Capt. George's Buffets, and I think this will be our last. It started years ago in Williamsburg where the food was well worth the price. It was all downhill from there. From Myrtle Beach to the Outer Banks, and then Virginia Beach, it just seems like just another buffet, but this one is expensive when... More

My husband loved the all you can eat crab legs, they were the reason we chose this restaurant, the restaurant itself was packed when we got there, but we got a table right away in the bar area but there was a line at the Buffett. I was only a tiny bit disappointed in the buffet because there is usually... More

The last time we ate here was maybe 20 years ago. We enjoyed it then and enjoyed it again. It was a Wednesday evening around 7 PM and figured we were going to have a long wait based on the crowded parking lots but when we walked in we were immediately seated. We had a great waitress, Chrystal who took... More

This was our best meal by far our entire time at Virginia Beach. The buffet was fully stocked with fresh items, and the service was excellent. Food was tasty and as well as a good variety of items. The price for what we got was very reasonable. Three people and it came to $116 for all you can eat seafood.... More

We go to VA Beach yearly, first night is always at Captain George.....the wait was longer that usual... we had a great waiter who took the time to describe and explain food and drinks that we saw and found interesting at the table over; we had crab legs which are always good; had a little of everything - always good...
