Get a great steak and a side for lunch for around $10. I get a side of mushrooms always! It's a bar with a great lunch menu. It was voted best bar steak in by the Virginia Pilot. Great lunch specials. Go early!

I visited the restaurant with a colleague for a late dinner. The food was very good. We had both gotten the Delmonico steak. My colleague was familiar with the restaurant and had actually called in our order before we got there so that it would be ready when we got there. It is a local hangout atmosphere with a table... While visiting Va Beach from Florida, I had one of the best prime rib dinners EVER, and the price was right! I ordered my prime rib med. rare, with a baked potato, WARM bread, a house salad and corn. My order was filled to perfection and served by an outstanding waitress named Marija. The food was fresh, hot and even... More

This was ranked the nos 1inexpensive steak house in tidewater 6 months ago which is why we tried it. We have been back numerous time since and it is now our favorite. The delmonica steak special on Sat is well worth it. We also enjoy the baked potatoes, salads, and bread. if you want a great steak try the Brass... More

HOLY COW....at first glance, it's a hole in the wall...but the steaks were so delicious and wonderful, and extremely reasonable. We stayed and watched (someof us sang)Karaoke and had a great night. Don't miss this place,....it is really fun and really delicious.

The BB's forte is the steaks. I had a great filet mignon ($15) cooked just right, my wife had the same, and our friend had the delmonico with shrimp (surf and turf-$17). The selections of side dishes coming with it are numerous. The service is great, too. Its definitely not fancy...it's a bar with great steaks. They have the standard... More

I remembered the newspaper review, & I also checked their website about the steak specials. We went about 5pm today, & we managed to get a booth. The servers were quite busy, as to be expected on a Saturday, but they were very attentive & pleasant. We enjoyed the delmonico steak special that came with two generous sides, & we... More

The Virginia Pilot Newspaper in its Sunday, March 25, Weekly Taste Test section rated the Brass Bell Restaurant & Lounge as the top barroom steak place in Hampton Roads. Until now, only those in the know went here. I'm afraid it will get crowded now - as Yogi said, "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." My tennis group goes... More

It reminds me of Cheers. Everyone was so cool, I felt like a regular. Wouldn't even mind going in there by myself, I will definetly be going back.
