Went for a lunch buffet on weekday during a recent vacation trip. This was definitely one of lo points of the visit. The food was cold with little choices. Tandoori chicken was overcooked and tasteless and so were other dishes. To top it off they actually charged us half price buffet for our 3 yr old who hardly ate anything.... More

I go there when I'm out in Va Beach but have also visited the one in military circle. Really good Indian , great spicy flavors and plenty of choices. I never order from the regular menu since the buffet has plenty of options both with meat and vegetarian. I usually try a little of everything and it's all tasty. The... More

Nothing fancy, but good food. I'm a vegetarian and tried some entrees, bread and chai. Ambience is okay. Clean, but nothing eye candy. Decent service. Will go again.

We visit Virginia Beach yearly and always stop by Nawab for the lunch buffet. Really like the variety and that the food is absolutely fresh and very appealing. The spice level is rather mild. The tandoori chicken was moist and accompanied by grilled vegetables-broccoli, zucchini, red peppers-instead of just the usual dried out onions. Some of the vegetable dishes had... More

My wife and I returned to Hampton Roads from a weekend trip and needed to make a stop in VA Beach. We are always looking for good restaurants to try and we like Indian cuisine. Nawab is one of two Indian restaurants I knew of in the area, so why not. Nawab is quite nice place; a wait staff and... More

This is the first review I've ever written for a restaurant. I had dinner at the Nawab restaurant in Virginia Beach. The entire experience was phenomenal, from the attentive and kind service to the amazing food and fantastic contemporary decor. This was a high-class dining experience without the expense. They have a fantastic menu with a wide range of meat,... More

This was a last minute decision for a local Indian restaurant. We ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and the Bewali Chicken. Both excellent choices. Environment is nothing fancy-but we went for the food and were not disappointed.

We ended up going to nawab after we saw that the mediterranean restaurant in the neighburhod was closed on sunday. After waiting for so long for the food we ordered, we started eating and both me and my husband thought the food quality was poor, we love indian cuisine and have been to many indian restaurants abroad. this one was... First time at this particular location with family and will definitely come back. Great food, reasonable price and nice atmosphere. A good location too.

Did a carry out. Food was overpriced in comparison to other Indian restaurants. The quantity of food made it worst. The worst dish was "Shahi Paneer", I have never seen having multiple vegetables in shahi paneer. Will definitely not recomend this restaurant, maybe the buffet is a better value.
