My husband wanted to go to this famous restaurant for Fathers Day lunch. It has a pretty view of the water and the staff seems knowledgeable. We ordered the Fried Calamari which comes garnished with peperoncinis and cocktail sauce and is on the menu priced at 9.99. Our waiter Robert said he would bring us Marinara sauce. When the bill... A return visit.. terrific food and friendly service. We were immediately seated on a Friday evening. Our server, Ginger, was knowledgeable and friendly. Our meal progressed at a comfortable pace. We didn't wait long between courses but never felt rushed.. I had the lump crab over pasta..light and flavorful -lots of crab. Hubby had broiled lobster tail and he said... More

My friend and I visited for a quiet birthday dinner. The soft shell crabs were wonderful. The largest and freshest I've had in a few years. Prices are higher that average but the service, food and wonderful view make it well worth it.

Discovered this lovely restaurant in the '70s. Have been back many times - every time I go to Va Beach. Seafood, hush puppies and dessert are wonderful. Service is excellent. Management has maintained a very classy establishment.

I recently had the lunch special which was broiled salmon with dill Mornay cream sauce. It seems as if many of their lunch entrées and specials have some sort of sauce on them which I find a little bit dated, perhaps. Anyway, the flavor was good and to have those hushpuppies again--well worth it. I also tried their famous she... More

About once a year we drive over, from Newport News, for lunch. Today, we arrived just as the bulk of the people were finishing their lunch and were leaving, 2PM. We seated immediately at a window table overlooking the beach and the mouth of the bay. Our server, Tom, came by within a couple of minutes took our drink order... More

I went there last summer May 2012. The atmosphere is great, food great, and service excellent. I would go there again. I know lots of people that go there.

Inside, the restaurant looked like it hadn't been redecorated in decades, and the menu read " old school". I was concerned with how the food would be presented and would taste. My delicious entree plus good service saved the meal. I would return just to order the Seashore Tower again. At least a dozen decent sized shrimp plus a hefty... More

When we lived in Virginia Beach this was the restaurant for special occasion dining such as an anniversary and any time you just wanted some superb seafood. The She Crab soup is the best anywhere along with the hush puppies make a great starter. The local fresh catch of the day prepared to your liking is always delicious and you... More

Out door seating on the pier was nice. This was an extension of the Lynnhaven Fish House Restaurant. Drinks were good. The crab Cake sandwich was ok.... too much breading. Flounder was very good! The cole slaw didn't have any dressing on it, just chopped up cabbage. I ordered a side of cole slaw which was served in a tiny... More
