We tried the resturant on two different occasions.....first time we had Rock Fish and Salmon. The Rockfish was very dry; however, the salmon was done nicely. Decided to give it a second try since the view is nice. The fried oysters were so overdone and the fish entree was tasteless. There also was an extra charge for a nondescript sauce... more

On the recommendations of several local residents, my wife and I had dinner here. My brother is from Norfolk and heard that this place was rather good; a couple of my friends and I were staying in Lynnhaven and my brother came to visit so we decided on the Fish House. We took a chance in spite of a few bad reviews. Boy, are we glad we did. We visit Virginia Beach infrequently, but we've found a reason to come back more often, i.e. Lynnhaven Fish House Restaurant. The staff was very courteous but ordered the platter and found it all too greasy. Too many deep fried , not as expected as per order. A little pricey but very nice atmosphere and great view. more
