Description: Located minutes from Chesapeake Bay on the water is One Fish-Two Fish. We offer an alternative to formal dining, it's what we call "fun dining." The atmosphere is "upscale without the uppity." This unique feeling is created by a casual waterfront environment with boat access. The restaurant is centered around the Exhibition Kitchen with panoramic views of the Bay. The menu incorporates a blend of California style with fresh, local seafood. The wine list focuses on "boutique style" wines and is consistently recognized with the Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence." Stephen Michaels, owner, and his staff strive to make this venue high energy but still elegant. The only thing we overlook is the water. See you there.

The venue is very nice, set in the middle of a marina, it was interesting seeing the boats and marina activity. The big and open interior of the restaurant is a bit confusing. The server was on his game, the selection bordered on the exotic but was presented well. I ordered a Snapper filet that was very nice and was... More

I should have read the menu a little more thoroughly, as I didn't realize the menu was so limited. My husband and I visited on Valentine's Day weekend and we were looking for something a little more special. They did have Valentine's specials, but still limited. We did stick around for appetizers and were glad we did! My husband had... More

We try to get to One Fish, Two Fish at least once each fall when we visit Virginia Beach. We generally go with a group of 10 - 12 people and it's always fun. The Staff is used to large crowds and does everything they can to make our visit pleasant. This group gets together only once in a while... More

What can I say! This is one of our favorite places to eat and tonight was no exception. Four course meal for New Year's Eve. Wife ordered the sea bass and I had the ahi tuna......wonderful. Our server, Kelly was outstanding. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful atmosphere. We got reservations while staying in Virginia Beach for the 4th of July - great location since it's away from the tourist-y, busy area of the beaches during this time. We got Sautéed Shrimp & Jumbo Lump Crab Tossed with Pecorino Cream Lemon Pepper Fettuccine, San Marzano Tomato Coulis, Fresh Sage - $28.95 Sautéed Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes... More

The food was really good. The wait staff was attentive, but the hostesses have always been mean and unwelcoming. Maybe that is why I'm always surprised by how good the food is.

Tried this place on the advice of the owner of a place we were renting and we were very glad we did. Everything we had was delicious, and the restaurant's atmosphere on the water was perfect for what they were serving.

Walking into the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was fantastic! It is a wonderfully placed restaurant with a fantastic view. We ordered drinks, but I immediately felt rushed to make a decision on what we were going to order. I, having never been here, needed time to review all of my options. The waitress asked 2-3 times what... More
