Located minutes from Chesapeake Bay on the water is One Fish-Two Fish. We offer an alternative to formal dining, it's what we call "fun dining." The atmosphere is "upscale without the uppity." This unique feeling is created by a casual waterfront environment with boat access. The restaurant is centered around the Exhibition Kitchen with panoramic views of the Bay. The menu incorporates a blend of California style with fresh, local seafood. The wine list focuses on "boutique style" wines and is consistently recognized with the Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence." Stephen Michaels, owner, and his staff strive to make this venue high energy but still elegant. The only thing we overlook is the water. See you there.

Beautiful View

Beautiful restaurant, wonderful food, great service. We arrived at 6 PM right before it got busy and had the perfect table outside with a gorgeous view. We will definitely go back next time we are in town.

I've had many of my friends tell me that they love one fish two fish but even though I've lived In vb a while, I hadn't visited until recently. I visited first with my out of town parents and then again with my husband. Our food really was so delicious. You must order the crab bisque; probably the best crab... More

Fantastic views of the water and a nice atmosphere make this restaurant special, even before you take a look at the menu. Here were the highlights from our dinner: - We didn't have reservations, but got a table right next to the window upon request - The layout is nice and open (the kitchen is in the middle of the... A great location with water views on 2 sides. Food was better than expected with fair prices. Included good warm bread and good service. Will definitely return.

We docked right next to the restaurant and enjoyed a delicious dinner. The calamari and the salads were a perfect start. I had a rockfish entrée and others in our group had the grouper. All delicious!

This was our third visit and we went very early as the restaurant is large and open and it tends to get loud. Unfortunately, it was too cold to eat outside. The outside deck is lovely and overlooks the Lynnhaven River. The appetizer we ordered was fried calamari with French fried onions. It was large enough for 4 to share... More

Visited the place for the first time and very impressed with the views and the decor, inviting and warm. Our server was great. Though by the end of the dinner, we were waiting quite long to be attended to. Not his fault that he was tasked to handle a pre-arranged huge company party, the management should have tasked someone to... More

Visited for valentines day this year. The views over looking the water during the sunset was great, sadly this was our highlight of the evening. There seemed to be a confusion amongst servers as ours, and others I over heard all listed slight differences in the specials, example 4 vs 6 oz filet, how many shrimp came with it etc...... More

We discovered this gem in VA Beach 2 years ago and when ever we visit, we come back because the views of the canal, sunset and beautiful boats and yachts are worth the drive away from the oceanfront. AND most importantly the service, ambiance and food are worth every dime. Our most recent trip was 2/21/15 and we were welcomed... More

Went there for drinks and appetizers with a friend this past weekend. 2 drinks each (cosmos) , 2 appetizers (tuna tataki and 6 oysters) to share and the bill was $80. No longer will be on my list of places to go. Far too expensive for me.
