Located minutes from Chesapeake Bay on the water is One Fish-Two Fish. We offer an alternative to formal dining, it's what we call "fun dining." The atmosphere is "upscale without the uppity." This unique feeling is created by a casual waterfront environment with boat access. The restaurant is centered around the Exhibition Kitchen with panoramic views of the Bay. The menu incorporates a blend of California style with fresh, local seafood. The wine list focuses on "boutique style" wines and is consistently recognized with the Wine Spectator "Award of Excellence." Stephen Michaels, owner, and his staff strive to make this venue high energy but still elegant. The only thing we overlook is the water. See you there.

nice view

This was our first time to One Fish Two Fish. The view was very nice and was on a water channel. It was nice to see boats going in and out. The food was very good. I'm not a seafood person but they did have a very good Ribeye steak and the staff was very nice and let me change... read more

Took my beautiful wife to One Fish Two Fish for our 15th Anniversary. The Tuna Provence was splendid. My wife had a beef tenderloin filet that she raved over throughout the meal. Nice martinis and impeccable service. I hope to take her there again one day. You get what you pay for... a Great meal.

Family of four went to One Fish Two Fish for dinner over the July 4th weekend and it was a nice reprieve from the Virginia Beach oceanfront. This restaurant is located in Lynnhaven area and approximately 15 minutes drive from VA Beach oceanfront. Service, food and dining room were excellent. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. The flounder dishes,... More

First time we visited this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience. The front host staff was friendly and very welcoming. We arrived for our dinner reservation at 7:45 and was asked if we wanted to eat inside or out. It was a little windy outside but was worth the gamble as the view of the waterway at sunset was... I'm so glad I read the previous post to mine as it seems to reiterate my feelings exactly, not as good as it was. Our expectations were high as we had a great meal for my husbands birthday on our last visit in November, I have been telling people how good it was, Sadly this time was a different experience.... We eagerly awaited our Father's Day experience at One Fish, Two Fish, having had fantastic meals there in the past. We started off with the wine list, and selected a great Zinfandel and vintage (2011) for $44. Upon presentation, it was a 2013, not so great at the price. The waitress, who was excellent, went to resolve the issue, but... More

Fantastic ambiance, great service and delicious food! We went here at 8pm on a weeknight and the inside was very busy but we ate outside overlooking the river and boats. Very relaxing atmosphere - can't wait to come back!

I expected more here than Salmon, fried flounder and tuna. No Mahi-Mahi, swordfish, grouper or snapper on the menu. I was really expecting this to be a fish specialty restaurant but that was it, 3 choices. I had the tuna, the base it was on was very watery but the tuna itself was very good. Most dishes here are with... More

Pretty surroundings in a marina and good food. Definitely one of the better options in the greater area and worth the drive.

We decided to try One Fish-Two Fish for dinner based on our good experience at a corporate event there some time ago. We made a reservation, clearly noting that we were celebrating our anniversary. Most restaurants, particularly ones of this purported caliber, send out a dessert for a special occasion or at a minimum acknowledge your event in some way.... More
